The description of the beast is found in Revelation chapters thirteen and seventeen. “The dragon stood on the shore of the sea. And I saw a beast coming out of the sea. There is idea mentioned that the beast from the sea are the political system. The Bible associates this end-times ruler with a terrible beast in Revelation and in Daniel. In Revelation, the term beast refers to two related entities. This beast is a word for a beast of prey a carnivorous animal. When used of a man, it denotes a cruel, violent, unreasoning person, After the beast kills the two witnesses, he leaves their bodies unburied for all to see in the middle of Jerusalem, whose figurative name is said to be “Sodom and Egypt, where also their Lord was crucified. Now to leave a dead body unburied entails the worst of indignities. The fact that two innocent prophets of God would die in Jerusalem at the hands of such a wicked man is indicative of the evil the city of Jerusalem has become through the centuries. After all, it is the same city where the Jewish Messiah, Jesus of Nazareth, was crucified. As Sodom was the symbol of moral degradation, Egypt was a symbol of oppression and slavery. Both the city of Sodom and the nation of Egypt despised God and His people. How sad that the holy city of Jerusalem was, and will continue to be until Christ returns, the city that rejects its own Messiah and the people who love and follow Him
