In a small kingdom bordered by tall mountains and a vast ocean, there was a magical place known as the Enchanted Forest. It was said that the trees could speak, sharing secrets with anyone brave enough to listen. Many adventurers entered the forest seeking its wonders, but few returned, leaving behind only stories of enchantment and danger. Among these tales was one about a beautiful sorceress named Elara, who had the power to change hearts and lives.
The cellar was no larger than the room above. Aside from a stool, a desk, and a broken chair, there stood a huge, old iron safe in the eastern corner of the room. He turned the handle of the safe and its heavy iron door swung open with a screech. He plucked an empty glass bottle, a tube, and a tin box from the topmost shelf and proceeded toward the desk.
