Setting Up Direct Bank Transfer on Short Story Lovers

Step 1: Accessing the Payouts Section

  • 1. Log in to your Short Story Lovers account.
  • 2. In your Author Hub, on the left-hand menu, click on the Payouts option. This will take you to the Payouts page.

Step 2: Selecting Direct Bank Transfer

  • 1. On the Payouts page, you’ll see two available payment methods: Stripe and Direct Bank Transfer.
  • 2. Select Direct Bank Transfer by clicking on it. The setup process will take a few seconds.

Step 3: Configuring Bank Details

  • 1. After selecting Direct Bank Transfer, you will see an option to add your bank account details under the Settings tab.
  • 2. Click on Edit next to How you get Paid and enter your bank account information accurately.

Step 4: Confirming Your Setup

  • 1. Once your bank details are entered and saved, you’ll see a confirmation on the Payouts page.
  • 2. The Payouts tab will display your earnings, threshold amount, and payout history.
  • 3. The Settings tab allows you to edit or deactivate your payment method if needed.

Step 5: Managing Payouts

  • 1. In the Payouts tab, you can track your earnings and see the progress towards the payment threshold.
  • 2. The payment threshold is set at $100. Once your earnings exceed this amount, you can request a withdrawal by clicking the Withdraw button.

Important Notes:

  • The payment threshold is $100 due to the limitations of our bank transfer partner. You can withdraw your funds once you exceed this amount.
  • If you need to make changes, you can deactivate the Direct Bank Transfer method and choose another payment method at any time.
