I suppose it happened during my first year of UG, it was the first day of my college and i was really nervous about it. Because I'm a socially awkward person. It was raining at that time, and i was waiting for my friend near the bus stop. As i was waiting for him maybe i just saw the love of my love(jk she must have been some random pretty girl waiting for the bus). The rain stopped after sometime and finally my friend steve arrived. He has been my friend since kindergarten, we're bestfriends. We were on our way to the college, i was telling him about the girl whom i saw in the busstop. I literally felt butterflies in my tummy and i told him that I've never seen someone as pretty as her. My friend was done with this topic and he asked me to shut up and drive the bike as we were already late for the class. We finally reached our college. We were sitting in the desk after so long, introducing ourselves to our new classmates. Guess what?....That pretty girl was in our class and her name was sara. I was awestruck and my friend was like what happened to you? So i told him about the girl and he was lost too. I kept looking at her until she came to me and asked me what are you looking at? I wasn't able to reply her. But my friend used this opportunity and made a conversation with her. At the end of the day she said bye to me and left the class. I kept smiling and I've never done that before, i told my friend that i really like her. He was like I'm not surprised at all and then i went home.Iwas thinking about her the whole night, that's what everyone does when they meet someone like her. It was the second day of our college, i actually left home early that day hoping to look at her for a little longer today but guess what? She was on leave and the day was a total disappointment, I felt like a part of me was missing the whole time. I kept ranting about her to my friend, he was totally annoyed with me and left the class. The next day she came to class and i decided to talk to her. I felt much more confident about the whole situation today, i went upto to her and said hi. But guess what? It was a dream, i actually thought it was real until i found myself lying down on the bed. Now it has been more than a month but i still haven't spoken to her neither she came and spoke to me, though girls usually don't make the first move. It's the boys who always make the first move. My friend steve was kinda close to her, i was too scared to ask her out.

There was this new girl in the class and her name was nancy. She was my neighbour and we got along really well, she used to travel with me to the college and we used to go back home together. Few people in the college college thought we both were in love, this rumor started spreading like a wild fire. And today i somehow managed to get sara's number and i texted her whatever I've been wanting to tell her all the time. But she never replied to my message, sara left me on seen. I was waiting for her to reply, which she never did. After few daysi was sitting near the auditorium, she came up to me and asked if she can borrow my phone to make a call, i said yes and gave the phone to her.

She was like really surprised to see her name saved as "love" on my phone, and then she asked me about it. I thought this was the right time to tell her everything, i told her that i actually like her, but then she was like i thought you were in love with nancy. I asked her who told you that I'm in love with her? She was like it was your bestfriend steve. I immediately called steve and asked him to come near the auditorium, i was like "steve when did i tell you that I'm in love with nancy, he replied you never told me you like her but i thought you both were in love, if we're in love i would have obviously told you right? But why'd you lie to sara? And steve replied "I like sara okay, but she was into you and i didn't like it. That's why i lied about you and nancy to her and i deleted the message which you sent her. Sara was like what message are you talking about? I replied that i basically told you that i like you and it has always been you. After listening to steve, sara was really stunned, how could someone do that to their bestfriend? It's betrayal right? She screwed steve for that and i hate steve for doing to that me. She confessed her love for me and that's how our love story began.
