I always had trouble making friends growing up. I never had any issues with teachers. I had always loved my teachers they were there for me but not like high school. In my first year of high school, I was a scared freshman and thought all adults were scary and mean. Well, I found one teacher that was very nice to me. His name was Mr.W he was amazing. We would joke around all the time and ask each other questions I wouldn't usually talk to anyone else about.
He would yell at me at times but it was mostly because I wasn't doing my work so it was always my fault. After each semester I would laugh because I never did work in his class like ever. Although I never did work I made sure to do the big things so I would pass. A year later and I was officially a sophomore, I went to Mr.W's room and asked him how he was doing and he said good. I was happy to see him again but I loved having him as a teacher because he was funny and he cared about the outcome of my grade. Although I never wanted to find more teachers I liked I found two major teachers I can say they have made a great and powerful impact. One of the teachers out of the two that I liked, her name was Mrs. Burzmor.
She was my English teacher when I first started her class I thought she was mean. Throughout the time I found out it was me who was the problem, not her. I went to the PTC (parent-teacher conference) and she said I was talking a lot and not getting my work done. I hadn't thought about it before saying she was mean but it was me who wasn't doing what they were supposed to and she was doing her job. After that night I became close to her and asked for help when I needed it. Over time she became the person who I asked for help even for personal problems. She never told anyone and she had great advice and helped with accommodations with my health.
She has had a big impact on my life and has helped me continue my life because I can talk it out with her. The last and final teacher I can say that has helped me is Mrs.Laskowski.She was my freshman-year Spanish teacher she seemed to me like she was mean when I first met her. It wasn't her fault there was just something about her that made her seem mean. My freshman year I was scared of her I wouldn't talk or do anything to make her upset because I was scared. After sophomore year I started taking an anxiety pill so it made me better. I also got Mrs. Laskowski as a Spanish two teacher.
I had started talking to her and tried to communicate and it had helped. After a while I had problems opening my locker so she let me keep my things in her classroom. I also had questions about being a teacher because it was a dream I've had I just needed some pointers. She took the time to explain what came with being a teacher and why she became a teacher. It helped me so much because I needed more insight into the career I wanted to pursue. I also loved going to her class because it was the one thing I would understand. After all, she took the time to explain it and made sure I had help whenever I needed it.
I also liked how patient and kind she was I have very few people like that, especially teachers. She also helped calm me down whenever I had appointments and was scared so I'm glad I have all these teachers in my life and that they care about me and the rest of their students. Despite everything she goes through daily, she remains positive, upbeat, and hilarious.
She's an amazing person who shows that you can shine bright and light up your path even in the dark. She's helpful, always gets the job done even if it's not hers to do, and she helps everyone. She's very respectful and considerate. She's also a great listener and always has thoughtful advice, She's also always reliable and you can always count on her for anything. And the last thing is she's very empathetic and always understands other's feelings and she is very supportive and always encourages everyone. This is why I created this project and why it means something to me. And this is why she is an amazing teacher and why she helped me with things when she didn't realize it.
I also forgot I have one more teacher who means a lot to me her name is Mrs. Maginity she is my choir teacher. She is an amazing person she never fails to make me smile and laugh. She always has advice for me when I need it and she's always there for any student. She always dances and makes sure it's a safe space in her classroom. I've told her about the dark times I went through and she never told anyone which I appreciated. She has been like a good friend and she doesn't judge.
It's really hard to find a teacher you can relate to but I did and she's amazing. The only thing is that I won't have her next year because he's leaving which is sad. She going to another school which breaks my heart but I know she will do great and she will love it there.S o those are all of my teachers who brought light into my life without knowing.
