Chapter 3 erworn willow

Hey there! Oh, is anyone else around? Well, let me take a moment to introduce myself. I'm the kind of person who tends to keep things productive. I don't make friends easily, and I'm pretty selective about who I let into my circle. It's not that I don't want to connect with people; it's just that I prefer to spend time with those who feel right to me. I don't care much about fitting in or impressing anyone - I've always been like that. But when it comes to friendship, I know when to put in the effort and when to step back.

Back in primary school, I never had many friends. I was that quiet kid who observed from the sidelines, keeping to myself. I suppose that lack of connection might have been one of my downfalls, but now, in high school, I've found a solid group of friends who genuinely bring good vibes into my life. They make me feel like I'm on the right track, and I've learned that it's okay to take risks and put myself out there.

Anyway, back to the story.

The other day, I was buying a bottle of water at the vending machine when I noticed something strange. A boy, somewhat odd, in a way that made me curious, was following me. At first, I thought it was just a coincidence. I shrugged it off. But then, as I walked through the school, I noticed he was still behind me, keeping his distance. It wasn't like he was stalking me, but it felt deliberate, like he was watching me without making it obvious.

I couldn't help but be intrigued. There was something about him. He looked so... out of place, yet effortlessly cool. He had this mysterious vibe, like he was the kind of person who didn't care what others thought, but still commanded attention without even trying. His long hair swayed slightly as he walked, and his posture was confident - almost regal. Honestly, he looked like someone who could belong to another world, a world that was just a little out of reach.

I decided to test it. I walked around the school a bit, trying to see if he was following me or if it was just my imagination. Sure enough, as I turned a corner and glanced back, he was still there, walking at a steady pace, as though he was following me on purpose. That's when I realized - he wasn't just some random guy. He was interesting.

I couldn't quite put my finger on it, but I felt this strange connection with him, even though we hadn't exchanged a single word. I wondered if he knew that he had this effect on people. He didn't smile much, but when he did, it was like the entire room lit up for a split second.

To top it off, he didn't look like the typical high school student. He had the looks, sure - handsome, mysterious, and captivating - but there was something that made him seem younger than his age. He had this sort of timeless quality to him, almost like he was caught between worlds. He could have easily passed for someone in middle school, but there was no doubt he had the presence of someone much older, much wiser. Maybe that's why I was so drawn to him. He was an enigma, and people like that always fascinated me.

After school, we both ended up waiting by the fence for our parents to pick us up. It felt so natural, almost like it was meant to happen. We didn't talk much, but I found myself stealing glances at him, just trying to figure him out. There was this feeling, like I wasn't supposed to be near him, but I couldn't help myself. There was a certain pull, a magnetism that was impossible to ignore. My friends had noticed him too, asking about him here and there, but for some reason, I didn't feel like sharing anything about him just yet. I didn't want to overanalyze or make assumptions too soon.

But truth be told, I was starting to become a little obsessed with him. It wasn't just his looks that kept me intrigued - it was his energy. He had this aura of mystery that I couldn't resist trying to uncover. I couldn't figure out why, but I wanted to know more.

And then, one day, we ended up talking. It wasn't planned. We just... started talking. The conversation flowed easily, as though we had known each other for years. He wasn't the type of person who shared everything about himself, but every word he said made me want to learn more. I could feel my heart race every time he spoke. It wasn't just the thrill of a new conversation - it was something deeper. There was something in his voice, in the way he looked at me, that made me feel like I was in the presence of someone who had seen far more than they let on.

Unfortunately, we didn't get to talk for long. I had to go home and study, but it felt like time had passed in the blink of an eye. I couldn't shake the feeling that I had just scratched the surface of something big. Something... important. But that's where the story ends for now. What happens next? Only time will tell.
