Once, there was a boy who lived with his mother and a sister. He lost his father during the war in Iraq. His mother was skilled dress maker, worked in households to give a better life for her kids. However, her son who wasn't old enough to help her but feel sorrow and pain when he sees her mother washing others sipped glasses. He despised those who showed sympathy for them. He never accepts things from others, frequently wondering why someone would hand him their worn possessions.

As the days passed, he took a tough decision to leave his studies and started to earn for family, as his mother had mounted up debt paying for his education. Every day he got ready for school and went to sell the ball points in the local market, while seeming to be at school, his mother was totally unaware of his actions.

Gradually, he managed to pay-off her mother's debts. He went straight to the man to settle the dues. His mother who was totally unaware of his action, visited a same person to request more time to pay the debt, she got to know that her debts had already been paid by her son. This led to a heated disagreement his mother insists him to continue his studies again, but he denied, at the end he grudgingly agreed, with the condition of keeping his job.

Eventually, he was hired as a spot boy at a marketing office. Through diligence and perseverance, he gained the admiration of his peers: He aspired to be like his boss, and one day, his boss noticed his dedication. He appointed him as an accountant, he shared the good news with his mother and this brought pleasure to his life, and made their living situation better.

However, one day, he noticed themomentous difference in pay among him and his boss, which left him dispirited. He questioned why life seemed so undue and unequal, in spite of working likewise hard.

His mother, in an attempt to comfort and instruct a valuable lesson, asked him to boil an egg and bring it to her without peeling. Following her instructions, he brought her a boiled egg. Then, she asked for a raw egg then she asked the boy to drop both eggs on the floor. The raw egg broke upon impact. Perplexed, the boy asked his mother for the reason behind these actions.

She enlightened, 'The boiled egg represented your boss, who has endured a lot and become strong, resilient, and experienced. If he faces hinders, he won't break. You, on the other hand, are still facing the difficulties and hardships of life, just like the uncooked egg. If you persist, you'll ultimately harden into an egg that is difficult to crack. Stay positive, be determined, and admire others' achievements without diminishing your own.'"
