Clever Poet and His Grain - Moral Story

It is a beautiful village. In that village, a talented poet lived happily with his family.

A few months later, his family was caught in the grip of poverty and the Poet was wondering what to do to recover from this.

The head of the village, who saw the poet's condition, went to the poet and said, "The king of our country gives a gift to the poet who praises him. You too should try to get that gift."

Considering this to be the right moment, the poet traveled to the palace to see the king.

Poet went to the palace to sing the praises of the king. He sang praises about the king and his rule.

Delighted at the poet's speech, the king said to the poet, "Ask what gift you want."

Poet thought that such poverty should not always affect my family. Then he saw that there was a chessboard in the palace. "God, I don't want anything big. There's a chessboard in it. If you put a pearl in it in the 1st stage and double it for each stage, I will accept it as a worthy gift," he said.

The king looked at the jug and asked, "Are pearls enough? Don't you want expensive things like gold and diamonds?" He asked.

Poet said, "My lord, only pearls are enough for me."

The king, who thought that Gold would ask for something, also joked and said yes.

Then the king commanded the servants of the palace, saying, "Bring forth the pearls which the king heard." The servants also stacked the pearls on top of the chessboard, as Poet had said on the chessboard.

In the 1st phase, in the 1st phase, in the 2nd phase, in the 3rd phase, in the 4th phase, in the 8th phase, the grains were arranged
as

By the 10th stage, the number of grains was 512.

By the 20th stage, the number of grains had increased to 5,24,288.

The number of grains increased to 214,74,83,648 when it reached the 32nd stage, half the distance.

Soon the number of pearls exceeded trillions. Thus the king lost the whole of his kingdom to that wise man.

The king apologized to the poet for his ingenuity and for the mistake he had made.

The king handed over the throne to the king, saying before the council that he had more power than me to rule this kingdom.
