Bryona Leddington lives in the Irish countryside.
She is a gifted creative.
She makes a living from it.
She writes, sculpts, draws and paints.
She has sold many of her works at a good price.

One day is got a call about a commission.
"Hello is this Bryona Leddington?"
"Yes." She said. "What can I do for you?" She continued.
"My apologies for not introducing myself earlier. My name is Samuel Tinton from the Arts Council.
He continued: "We need to refurbish an old building and we need a written or sculpted piece about environment. Are you interested? And are you on the internet?"
Bryona replied: "Yes. I am interested and yes I have the Internet. I am on email, Twitter and Facebook. Why do you ask?"
Samuel replied: "We need to market your work online when it is finished."
Bryona replied back: "Is there any particular size and height for the sculpture?"
Samuel replied back: "100 cm. it is to be erected outside. We need it by mid-November."
Bryona replied: "Will I get paid for this commission? If I am to be paid, I will start immediately.
Samuel replied back: "You will be paid once we see the final sculpture before it is erected. We don't know the exact amount yet. We would not commission a work without money to pay the artist.
Bryona replied: "That is good to hear. I will get started on it as soon as possible."
The following day Bryona went to the Art and Craft shop to buy clay and other supplies for her commissioned piece. She was able to buy the clay no problem, but the other supplies had to be ordered. Bryona asked: "How long will it take for the rest to arrive?"
"I think it will be a week if I order them today. " The Shopkeeper said.
"Ok. Could you contact me when they arrive"Bryona said.
"Most certainly." The Shopkeeper said. She left her phone number with him and left.
A week later Bryona got a text message saying her supplies were ready to collect. She said: "Great. I will collect them tomorrow."

She collected her extra supplies and paid for them. Bryona went home and started her commissioned piece.
She said: "This is fun and passes the time no end."
She didn't feel mid-november coming and the completion of the piece.
She stood back and examined the work of art she had created.
"It looks fantastic." She said.
The sculpture looked like a tree rooted to the ground. She loved it and was reluctant to part with it, but she had to. It felt like a dream come true it was money at the end of this rainbow. Butterflies suddenly invaded her body:
"I hope the Arts Council like the piece and that it reflects the theme of 'Environment.' "
She said in a jittery voice.
The Arts Council contacted her to arrange an appointment to see her work.
Samuel said: "I would like to see your work later today if possible?"
Bryona replied: "Yes. Would 4pm today be ok?"
Samuel replied: "Yes. I will be there. What is your Eircode?"
Bryona replied: " xxx12345."
Samuel replied back: "I will be there."
Bryona replied for the final time before meeting: "Great. See you then."
The doorbell rang. Bryona ran to answer it. It was Samuel.
"Can I come in?" He said.
"Of course." Bryona replied.
In he went and went straight for the sculpture and started to examine it thoroughly.
Ah hour went by and still he was standing there looking at it Bryona was getting worried:
"Is everything alright with the sculpture?" She said.
Samuel replied:
"Yes. It is wonderful and reflects the theme perfectly. Can I take the piece away right now?"
"You can. " Bryona replied
"Can you help me take it out thethe pickup truck?" Samuel replied.
"Of course." Bryona replied.
Both of them had to bring it out the front door of the house as it was the best way for Both of them to have the sculpture in one piece. An hour later the job was done without any accidents.
Bryona and Samuel breathed a sigh of relief and said goodbye to each other.
Samuel said one final thing to Bryona:
"I will be in touch about payment in a few weeks."
She slowly walked into the house. She was in a thoughtful mood for the rest of the day.
She found it hard to concentrate on anything else.
Two weeks later she got a call from Samuel in the Arts Council:
"I need your bank details for payment."
Bryona said: "Sure. Here they are XXXXXXXXXX xxxxx."
Samuel replied:
"Thanks for that. I will go to the bank tomorrow before 4pm and lodge the money."
Bryona replied back:
"Thanks. Looking forward to it."
Tomorrow came and Bryona got a text from Samuel to say that the payment had been transferred to her account. She waited a few days to see if it really had gone through. The weekend came she checked her Banking 365 and sure enough it was there as Samuel said.
She thought "It will be a while again before I create something as wonderful as her environment piece. Creativity isn't forever."
