The Face in the Mirror
Kara awoke in her apartment, drenched in sweat. She didn't remember coming home. Her last memory was that moment in the office, the cyberattack. How had she escaped? What had happened after?
Shaking off the dizziness, she staggered to the bathroom and flicked on the mirror. Her face stared back at her, but her reflection didn't match her expression. The reflection smiled. She didn't.
Kara recoiled, her heart racing. Something was terribly wrong.
Her internal communicator blinked. A message appeared, bright against the mirror: You are me now.
