Cunning Cuppy and the Strawberry Cake
Chapter 1
What am I doing here? One month ago I was on posters, TV shows and the world loved me. I had so many friends I lost count of them all, and now….I'm sitting here alone. I bet you're wondering how I got here? Sometimes I think the same.
Fame, it' such a funny business. One minute you're on top of the world and the next you're down here….at rock bottom. Let me take you back to where I had it all. So here goes, this is my story, the story of Cuppy, that's me. It all started 1 month ago…..
We go back in time, 1 month ago
Music, lights, screaming fans shout out Cuppy's name. Cuppy has just arrived at Times Square, New York City at one of America's biggest makeup events in the world called ‘Shade Away’. Fans gathered in thousands to wait and meet her as she is their biggest idol. Cuppy arrives in a black limousine, and steps out of the car to walk the red carpet to where chanting fans greet her while she waves and signs autographs, and takes pictures. The world loves Cuppy!
Cuppy enters the building.
“Miss Cup, your schedule has changed slightly,” said the stage manager.
“I'm sorry, I must be mistaken, are you telling me, that ‘my’ schedule has changed…I don’t think so. Do you know who I am? Now, we can make this very easy or very very hard. Your choice”.
“Umm Miss Cup I don’t know….” says the stage manager who is cut off by Cuppy.
“Cup Cup! I don't have all day. Now be a dear and fetch me my cappuccino, I'll be in my dressing room……”
The stage manager stands there, blankly and not saying a word.
“Cup Cup!”
Cuppy then walks away and heads towards her dressing room followed by her entourage.
“It's so hard to find staff these days, wouldn't you agree?” says Cuppy.
Cuppy's entourage shakes their heads and agree.
“Most right,” says Lola, her personal assistant.
Chapter 2 The dressing room.
Cuppy sits in her chair while a makeup artist is applying her makeup for the event. Inside the dressing room is her personal assistant and entourage scattered around.
“Lola,” says Cuppy, “be a dear and see where my cappuccino is. Clearly the staff in here are too busy to make sure their superstar is happy.”
“Yes Miss Cuppy,” says Lola..
“Call me Queen Cuppy, it has a better ring to it.”
“Yes, Queen Cuppy, as you wish,” says Lola..
Cuppy turns to the makeup artist and reacts to what is happening to her face.
“I'm sorry,” says Cuppy, “are you applying makeup for an animal? Do I look like an animal?”
The room goes silent. The makeup artist is very apologetic.
“I'm sorry-” she says, “I will start over immediately.”
“I haven't got time for this nonsense, do you see that poster behind you?”
The makeup artist stays silent.
“You see, my name is Cuppy Cup, I'm the star of this event, and I can't have my face looking like this. Now I know it might work for someone like you, with all that fuzzy hair and cute little smile, but you see that’s not what the people want. Now the people are here to see me….not you. Get it? Good, now be a dear and hurry up or I'll find someone else to do it and you can spend the next job cleaning and wiping tables at Starbucks. Understood? Good.”
The room stays silent. The makeup artist begins to tear up. She exits the room. Lola returns moments later with her cappuccino accompanied by a fan named Alice. Alice is a young girl with long blonde hair and resembles Alice from ‘Alice in Wonderland.’
“Oh Lola you are a dear,” says Cuppy as Lola hands her the cappuccino.
“And look, you've already found me someone else to re-do my makeup, because clearly that other girl was meant to be wiping tables.”
Cuppy turns to the new girl-Alice and says, “Ok, now I don't want to look like an animal remember I'm the star, not you.”
Alice stands silent.
“Well, don't just stand there, I know it can be intimidating but I'm just a person like anyone else, like you, well not like you of course… I'm famous and everyone loves me, so come on. Cup, Cup!”
“Ummm Cuppy,” says Lola.
“QUEEN Cuppy!” says Cuppy annoyed.
“Queen Cuppy, this isn't your makeup artist,” replies Lola.
“Well then, who is she? Don't just stand there spit it out,” says Cuppy.
“This is Alice” whispers Lola, your biggest fan. Remember, the competition for a fan to get the chance to meet you at this event?”
Shocked and surprised, Cuppy changes the way she's been acting.
“Ohhh, yes that's right,” says Cuppy, “welcome sweetie.”
Alice is carrying a gift.
“I have something for you. It's a cake, strawberry because I know that's your favorite.”
“Isn't that sweet,” says Cuppy.
Everyone in the room stands silent. Cuppy, whilst smiling and grinding her teeth says,
“Lola, plates?!”
Lola grabs plates for everyone as there is enough cake to go around. Lola passes everyone's cake and is told by Alice that one particular slice of cake is for Cuppy. Everyone starts to eat the cake, except for Cuppy, who really doesn’t like strawberry cake. Everyone stares at Cuppy whilst eating the cake. Cuppy says,
“Maybe after the show, I don't want to walk out in front of my other fans feeling bloated.”
“Oh please”, says Alice, “I made this from scratch, it took me all morning to make.”
Cuppy decides to eat a little spoonful of cake which she does and shows satisfaction with the small piece she eats.
“Ummm delicious,” says Cuppy pretending she likes strawberry cake.
The entire room also agrees with how delicious the cake is.
An hour passes, Cuppy is in full makeup and decides she needs the bathroom before she goes on stage. On her way back from the bathroom, Cuppy is told it's time to walk the catwalk. Cuppy takes a selfie with Alice-her number one fan on both of their phones, signs a few autographs, and waves her number one fan goodbye.
“Thank god that's over,” says Cuppy.
As Cuppy walks up the stairs we hear chanting and music followed by flashing cameras. Cuppy is feeling a slight headache and feels dizzy but it does not stop her from walking out on the catwalk. The stage is hers……
The show was a success and everyone loved it. Cuppy is now at home, in bed ready to sleep.
Chapter 3 - Dazed and Confused
The following morning Cuppy rises from her bed, she looks around and realizes this is not her room.
“Where am I?” says Cuppy all confused.
Around the room we see posters of Cuppy with the face cut out and Alice's face put on them. Pictures from magazines to social media and even catwalk events. The room is filled with many things from toys to teddy bears, flower patterns to even candy wrappers peeking out from under the blue sheeted bunkbed. Suddenly a loud screech from a young girl comes running into the room. It's Rebecca, Alice's little sister.
“Alice, Alice, Alice, Alice!,” Rebecca says excitedly.
“Let's play!”
Very confused and panicking, Cuppy who is now somehow in Alice's body reacts.
“Who are you?” says Cuppy.
“I’m a little monster,” says Rebecca with a big roar.
“Who are you?” Insists Cuppy.
“I'm a Zombie!” Says Rebecca walking and moaning like the dead.
“I don't get it,” says Cuppy still confused and annoyed.
“I don't want to play this game, Alice. Stop it. Let's play”, says Rebecca desperately wanting to play with her older sister.
“Alice?” Says Cuppy again very confused.
“I'm not Alice. My name is Cuppy!”
“Stop it, Alice, this game is boring. You don't even look like Cuppy,” says Rebecca.
"But I am Cuppy. Not Alex,” insists Cuppy.
“Alex?” Says Rebecca.
“I mean Alice or whoever it is you think I am," says a very annoyed Cuppy.
“Well, you don't look like Cuppy, you look like my older sister Alice, look.”
Rebecca goes and picks up a big mirror and hands it too Cuppy. Cuppy takes hold of the mirror and slowly raises it to her face. Cuppy on seeing her new reflection reacts drastically with a loud scream!
“Ahhhhh!”
Alice's Mum comes storming into the room.
"What on earth is going on in here! Rebecca, leave your sister alone. Come on you two! It's breakfast time. Strawberry pancakes, you're favourite. Alice, Hurry up, or they’ll be none left”.
Chapter 4 - Breakfast with a dog named Liquorish
In Cuppy's room. A room filled with everything you could ever imagine. Crystal Chandeliers, a closet filled with dresses and shoes in every colour, big flat-screen Tv's even a Cappuccino machine, and a dog bed in the shape of a princess castle for her dog Liquorish, a half-German Shepard half Saluki.
Alice, who is now inside Cuppy's body wakes to the soft sound of music as her alarm. A butler enters the room placing down her breakfast and cappuccino on a silver tray. The butler expresses his delight with a “Good morning Miss Cuppy”, as he leaves the room, while the blinds on the windows begin to rise automatically, as the sun enters the room.
Alice rises from bed, yawning and stretching breaking a nice smile. Alice looks around the room and suddenly a dog appears on the bed but is very hesitant to play with her as the dog does not recognize who this person is. Alice, looks at the dog collar and she says;
“Liquorish, that's a cute name. It's me, Cuppy, well, not the real one but I guess you've figured that out. Not to worry, I'll be better than your previous owner.”
Alice then begins to eat her breakfast whilst sharing it with her new pet, Liquorish. Enjoying the full view of the room she says with a smile;
“This is going to be fun.”
Capter 5 - Imposter
Back at Alice's house. Cuppy is sat at the dinner table with Rebecca. Rebecca is wolfing down the pancakes while Cuppy is watching in disgust as she plays with her pancake-not at all interested in eating it.
“Alice, it will get cold if you don’t hurry up and eat it," says Mom.
“I've lost my appetite," as she looks at Rebecca with strawberry pancake and whip cream all over her face.
“Could I have Eggs Benedict instead?” Says Cuppy.
“Eggs what?” Replies Alice’s Mum.
"You know, Eggs Benedict. Leonardo would have it ready for when I wake up," says Cuppy.
“Who is Leonardo?” Replies Rebecca and her Mom.
“The most famous chef in the world?” Cuppy Replies.
“Have you banged your head this morning?”, asks Alice’s Mum.
“Fine, I'll just have my usual Cappuccino," insists Cuppy.
“Cappa what now?” Alice's Mum replies all confused.
“A Cappuccino, you know a milky coffee in a nice cup,” replies a sarcastic Cuppy.
Alice's Mum and sister Rebecca stare silently at Cuppy.
Cuppy then breaks the silence and says, “Fine, if it's too much to ask, I'll just have a Latte, one sugar. Do you think you can handle that? Should I write it down how to make it for you?” Again said in a sarcastic tone.
“How about a punishment?” Replies Alice's Mum.
On hearing this, Cuppy assumes this is a new worded coffee and seems to pronounce it wrong.
‘A pu-nish-ment, what's that? Sound interesting! It must be French. Ok, I'll give it ago,” says Cuppy all excited.
“How about you spend the day doing chores, and you can start by cleaning the hamster cages for your cheek," her Mom replies stoned-faced.
Suddenly Cuppy's eyes wander to the image of her body on TV, being recorded by news reporters entering the White House.
"IMPOSTER!” shouts Cuppy, as she stands facing the TV.
“That's me, look, I told you I'm not Alice, I'm Cuppy!”
“Not this again," sighs Rebecca.
“Not today you're not," replies Mom, “today you're a house cleaner named Alice.”
Chapter 5.5 - The White House
Alice is at the White House, meeting the president for the first time before she flies to the United Kingdom for the makeup event of the year. She is being honoured by the president as she represents her country.
“It's an honour to have you here, Miss Cuppy! And a pleasure to meet you. I wish you on behalf of the United States of America all the best in the show coming up in the United Kingdom. You have done our country proud," says President Bell-Hopper.
Alice replies with a grin, “Yes, it's going to be an eventful one and I can't wait for the entire world to see it”.
Chapter 6 - Chores
Cuppy is cleaning the hamster cage and the radio is playing in the background.
I just want my old life back," Cuppy says in a sad tone.
I want to be at home. In my own room, with Liquorish.
“Liquorish? You hate Liquorish!” Says Rebecca.
“Not the candy, it's my dog, the most amazing dog in the world and also the cutest.”
Whilst doing her chores the radio announces something BIG! A competition! A voice comes through the radio.
“Are you the biggest Cuppy fan ever? Do you want the chance to spend the afternoon with Cuppy? If you do all you have to do is enter our competition and answer one question for the chance to win! Our Question is…….What is Cuppy's dog's name?”
Cuppy screams at the radio, LIQUORISH. It's LIQUORISH, LIQUORISH, LIQUORISH!
Rebecca says laughing, “They can't hear you”. You have to call in.
Cuppy calls the radio after many fans enter the competition and get the dog's name wrong. It's Cuppy's turn, the radio presenter asks the question to which Cuppy replies…..
“Liquorish, the dog's name is Liquorish,” insists Cuppy.
“We have a winner!” Says the radio presenter.
“What's your name please?”
Cuppy replies, “My name is Cuppy Cup.”
“Well, Cuppy Cup, in one week you're going to meet your idol the other Cuppy Cup. How does that sound?”
“One week!” Sighs Cuppy. “I want to meet her now! I need to meet her now!”
“Hold your horses, you will meet her in one week, thanks for calling in and I hope this will be the best gift ever," say the radio presenter.
After Cuppy ends the call, she says, “One week! what am I going to do, stuck here for one week?”
Chapter 7- MONTAGE 1
Cuppy spends her days living like a normal girl. We see Cuppy at first not going along with how Alice's family lives, with simple chores, sharing, and being nice to her sister and friends. Later in the week, we see the things Cuppy didn't like doing- like helping others. Cuppy starts to help Mum and the family, she starts to be nice to Rebecca, she helps clean and does chores and we see a different person. By the end of the week, Cuppy has transformed into a wonderful, generous human and we begin to love this new Cuppy.
On the other hand,
We see Alice going about her week as Cuppy. Alice who is nothing like the ‘real’ Cuppy starts to show her nice side. Alice in this week up to the competition starts to help others and show her assistant a different side of her, like cleaning her room, walking the dog, going to fun events, and having fun days with her entourage; even making her and everyone else cappuccinos. We see Alice makes everyone happy with sleepovers and food and Alice becomes very good friends with the people who thought that ‘Cuppy’ wasn't very nice to be around. Alice has changed their minds.
Cuppy is now fun.
Chapter 9 - The Day before ‘The day’
Cuppy is packing her things for her competition win. After packing her bag she takes it downstairs ready for the next morning. In the living room is Rebecca who is playing with a colourful bouncy ball.
“Be careful with that Rebecca,” say’s Cuppy.
“Relax! I'm always careful,” replies Rebecca.
The moment Rebecca says these words the ball hits off of the sofa and bounces towards a beautiful shiny vase belonging to her Mom. In slow motion, Cuppy's face turn to horror while Rebecca covers her eyes as they watch the vase fall all the way towards the ground. SMASHHHHHHHH! The vase breaks into a million pieces. Both Cuppy and Rebecca stand there….silent until they hear their Mom's voice.
“What was that?” Shouts Alice’s mom from the top of the stairs.
“Nothing!” Shouts Cuppy as she is quick to react.
“We will just see if it's nothing,” replies Alice’s Mom.
Both panicking, as they hear every footstep Alice's Mom takes coming down the stairs. Both girls stand in front of the smashed vase to try and hide it. Alice's Mom enters the room and screams in horror at what she is seeing.
“Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh!” cries Alice's Mom.
“Who did this? Whoever did this is in serious trouble.”
Rebecca starts to tear up and before she can say the words “It was me.” Cuppy gets there first.
“It was me. I'm really sorry," says Cuppy.
“Sorry!” says Mom. “You will be sorry after what I do. Grounded. 1 WEEK! You can also forget about meeting that Cuppy Cup because being grounded starts tomorrow.”
Alice's Mom storms into the kitchen to get supplies to clean up the smashed glass. She tells both girls to get to their room. Cuppy runs upstairs crying all the way as she runs and jumps on her bed face down. Rebecca follows in behind her.
“I'm really sorry Cuppy,” says Rebecca, “It was an accident.”
Chapter 10 - The Day
Cuppy wakes up. Rebecca is nowhere to be seen. Cuppy lays there in bed holding a stuffed teddy bear. She is very upset because she knows that she will not be allowed to go and meet Cuppy who is really Alice and switch her body back. Cuppy thinks that this is the only chance she will ever have and now it's gone and she will be forever trapped in Alice's body.
“What am I doing here? One month ago I was on posters, TV shows and the world loved me. I had so many friends I lost count of them all, and now….I'm sitting here alone. “Alice, Alice,” calls Mom.
Cuppy walks downstairs very slowly, taking her time with every step. When she reaches the bottom she goes into the living room where her Mom and sister are waiting.
“You're not even dressed, you're going to be late,” her mom says.
Cuppy stands confused and replies, “Late for what?”
“To meet Cuppy,” her sister replies.
“But I'm grounded,” says Cuppy.
“No, you're not. I am. I told Mom the truth, it was me who broke the vase and you were trying to help me by taking the blame. I'm sorry,” says Rebecca.
“We will talk about your punish later, Rebecca, but for right now, Alice has to get ready and on her way to meet Cuppy,” her mom insists.
All excited Alice A.K.A Cuppy runs upstairs tripping all the way excitedly towards her bedroom to get ready, as she knows that this is it; the day has finally come…..she's going home.
Chapter 11 - Almost done!
Whilst getting ready for the ‘The day’ Cuppy in a mad rush kicks something hard under her bed. Thinking she had spilled something, she quickly checks, and to her surprise, it's a box, which is labeled ‘Secrets-DO NOT TOUCH’. Cuppy takes the box and opens it on the bed. When she opens the box, we see pictures of the real Cuppy in her everyday life and many spells and enchantments. Cuppy now realises that Alice had placed a magic spell on her and instantly remembered how it happened.
“The CAKE!”
A call is heard from the bottom of the stairs, its mom calling to hurry as they were going to be late.
“Hurry up Alice,” shouts Mom.
Cuppy grabs the potion inside the secret box and puts it in her bag. Cuppy dashes downstairs and she's out the door with Mom and Rebecca in a flash. On the way, Mom says she has a gift for Alice to give to Cuppy. It's a strawberry cake, just like the last time. Cuppy thinks this is perfect as she had no idea how to give the potion to Alice without her knowing.
Chapter 12 - The Meet
Waiting in a black shiny Limousine is Cuppy A.K.A Alice. She is waiting on her guest to arrive. We see Mom pull up in the car, and wish Alice A.K.A Cuppy to have a great time. Rebecca gives Cuppy one big hug, the kind of hug you give when you know you’re saying goodbye forever. Off Cuppy goes, to get her old life back.
She enters the limousine, and before she can be welcomed by Cuppy, A.K.A Alice- she is sent in shock as she realizes, it's the real Cuppy!
“I bet you weren't expecting to see me,” replies Cuppy.
Speechless, Alice does not know what to say. Her assistant Lola recognises the face and replies,
“What are the chances of this, you win for a second time! Isn't that amazing? Queen Cuppy?”
Alice, aka Cuppy, replies, “Lola, would you be a dear and ride in the other car. I have some catching up to do.”
Riding in the car, Cuppy presents Alice with strawberry cake.
“Here, you're favourite, your Mom made it for us,” says Cuppy.
“Strawberry cake, amazing! I've not had this in so long,” says Alice.
Without hesitation, Alice dives in and starts to eat the cake while Cuppy regretfully eats hers.
“Have you had fun in my body, with my life?” asks Cuppy.
“I'm so sorry, Cuppy, I just wanted to have what you had. I wasn't going to do it at first, but then I saw how mean you were to everyone and decided it was time for you to learn,” replies Alice.
“Well, that's ok, I understand. I was not a very nice person. Having spent so long with your family, I have seen a better side of me, someone I want to be from now on,” cries Cuppy.
“I'm so glad you had fun, 'cause I sure did,” replies Alice.
“I'm glad you did, but now it's time for us to go back to our normal lives,” insists Cuppy.
Both Alice and Cuppy enjoy their day together and make really good friends. At the end of the day, they both say goodbye and thank each other for everything. Alice thanks Cuppy for allowing her to live her famous life and Cuppy thanks Alice for making her realizes she needs to be nicer to others. They both part ways as they know by morning they will have switched back to their normal lives.
Chapter 13 - The Switch
The very next day, both Cuppy and Alice are back to their bodies and are living their lives again. Cuppy is grateful for everyone around her and Alice is just glad to be back to her normal life with her Mom and sister Rebecca. A day passes and things are again normal…..until the second day when Cuppy wakes up in Alices' room and Alice wakes up in Cuppy's room.
Alice and Cuppy both in shock-shout, “Not again!!!!!!!!!”

Everyone starts to eat the cake, except for Cuppy, who really doesn’t like strawberry cake. Everyone stares at Cuppy whilst eating the cake. Cuppy says,
“Maybe after the show, I don't want to walk out in front of my other fans feeling bloated.”
“Oh please”, says Alice, “I made this from scratch, it took me all morning to make.”
Cuppy decides to eat a little spoonful of cake which she does and shows satisfaction with the small piece she eats.
“Ummm delicious,” says Cuppy pretending she likes strawberry cake.
The entire room also agrees with how delicious the cake is.
An hour passes, Cuppy is in full makeup and decides she needs the bathroom before she goes on stage. On her way back from the bathroom, Cuppy is told it's time to walk the catwalk. Cuppy takes a selfie with Alice-her number one fan on both of their phones, signs a few autographs, and waves her number one fan goodbye.
“Thank god that's over,” says Cuppy.
As Cuppy walks up the stairs we hear chanting and music followed by flashing cameras. Cuppy is feeling a slight headache and feels dizzy but it does not stop her from walking out on the catwalk. The stage is hers……
The show was a success and everyone loved it. Cuppy is now at home, in bed ready to sleep.
Chapter 3 - Dazed and Confused
The following morning Cuppy rises from her bed, she looks around and realizes this is not her room.
“Where am I?” says Cuppy all confused.
Around the room we see posters of Cuppy with the face cut out and Alice's face put on them. Pictures from magazines to social media and even catwalk events. The room is filled with many things from toys to teddy bears, flower patterns to even candy wrappers peeking out from under the blue sheeted bunkbed. Suddenly a loud screech from a young girl comes running into the room. It's Rebecca, Alice's little sister.
“Alice, Alice, Alice, Alice!,” Rebecca says excitedly.
“Let's play!”
Very confused and panicking, Cuppy who is now somehow in Alice's body reacts.
“Who are you?” says Cuppy.
“I’m a little monster,” says Rebecca with a big roar.
“Who are you?” Insists Cuppy.
“I'm a Zombie!” Says Rebecca walking and moaning like the dead.
“I don't get it,” says Cuppy still confused and annoyed.
“I don't want to play this game, Alice. Stop it. Let's play”, says Rebecca desperately wanting to play with her older sister.
“Alice?” Says Cuppy again very confused.
“I'm not Alice. My name is Cuppy!”
“Stop it, Alice, this game is boring. You don't even look like Cuppy,” says Rebecca.
"But I am Cuppy. Not Alex,” insists Cuppy.
“Alex?” Says Rebecca.
“I mean Alice or whoever it is you think I am," says a very annoyed Cuppy.
“Well, you don't look like Cuppy, you look like my older sister Alice, look.”
Rebecca goes and picks up a big mirror and hands it too Cuppy. Cuppy takes hold of the mirror and slowly raises it to her face. Cuppy on seeing her new reflection reacts drastically with a loud scream!
“Ahhhhh!”
Alice's Mum comes storming into the room.
"What on earth is going on in here! Rebecca, leave your sister alone. Come on you two! It's breakfast time. Strawberry pancakes, you're favourite. Alice, Hurry up, or they’ll be none left”.
Chapter 4 - Breakfast with a dog named Liquorish
In Cuppy's room. A room filled with everything you could ever imagine. Crystal Chandeliers, a closet filled with dresses and shoes in every colour, big flat-screen Tv's even a Cappuccino machine, and a dog bed in the shape of a princess castle for her dog Liquorish, a half-German Shepard half Saluki.
Alice, who is now inside Cuppy's body wakes to the soft sound of music as her alarm. A butler enters the room placing down her breakfast and cappuccino on a silver tray. The butler expresses his delight with a “Good morning Miss Cuppy”, as he leaves the room, while the blinds on the windows begin to rise automatically, as the sun enters the room.
Alice rises from bed, yawning and stretching breaking a nice smile. Alice looks around the room and suddenly a dog appears on the bed but is very hesitant to play with her as the dog does not recognize who this person is. Alice, looks at the dog collar and she says;
“Liquorish, that's a cute name. It's me, Cuppy, well, not the real one but I guess you've figured that out. Not to worry, I'll be better than your previous owner.”
Alice then begins to eat her breakfast whilst sharing it with her new pet, Liquorish. Enjoying the full view of the room she says with a smile;
“This is going to be fun.”
Capter 5 - Imposter
Back at Alice's house. Cuppy is sat at the dinner table with Rebecca. Rebecca is wolfing down the pancakes while Cuppy is watching in disgust as she plays with her pancake-not at all interested in eating it.
“Alice, it will get cold if you don’t hurry up and eat it," says Mom.
“I've lost my appetite," as she looks at Rebecca with strawberry pancake and whip cream all over her face.
“Could I have Eggs Benedict instead?” Says Cuppy.
“Eggs what?” Replies Alice’s Mum.
"You know, Eggs Benedict. Leonardo would have it ready for when I wake up," says Cuppy.
“Who is Leonardo?” Replies Rebecca and her Mom.
“The most famous chef in the world?” Cuppy Replies.
“Have you banged your head this morning?”, asks Alice’s Mum.
“Fine, I'll just have my usual Cappuccino," insists Cuppy.
“Cappa what now?” Alice's Mum replies all confused.
“A Cappuccino, you know a milky coffee in a nice cup,” replies a sarcastic Cuppy.
Alice's Mum and sister Rebecca stare silently at Cuppy.
Cuppy then breaks the silence and says, “Fine, if it's too much to ask, I'll just have a Latte, one sugar. Do you think you can handle that? Should I write it down how to make it for you?” Again said in a sarcastic tone.
“How about a punishment?” Replies Alice's Mum.
On hearing this, Cuppy assumes this is a new worded coffee and seems to pronounce it wrong.
‘A pu-nish-ment, what's that? Sound interesting! It must be French. Ok, I'll give it ago,” says Cuppy all excited.
“How about you spend the day doing chores, and you can start by cleaning the hamster cages for your cheek," her Mom replies stoned-faced.
Suddenly Cuppy's eyes wander to the image of her body on TV, being recorded by news reporters entering the White House.
"IMPOSTER!” shouts Cuppy, as she stands facing the TV.
“That's me, look, I told you I'm not Alice, I'm Cuppy!”
“Not this again," sighs Rebecca.
“Not today you're not," replies Mom, “today you're a house cleaner named Alice.”
Chapter 5.5 - The White House
Alice is at the White House, meeting the president for the first time before she flies to the United Kingdom for the makeup event of the year. She is being honoured by the president as she represents her country.
“It's an honour to have you here, Miss Cuppy! And a pleasure to meet you. I wish you on behalf of the United States of America all the best in the show coming up in the United Kingdom. You have done our country proud," says President Bell-Hopper.
Alice replies with a grin, “Yes, it's going to be an eventful one and I can't wait for the entire world to see it”.
Chapter 6 - Chores
Cuppy is cleaning the hamster cage and the radio is playing in the background.
I just want my old life back," Cuppy says in a sad tone.
I want to be at home. In my own room, with Liquorish.
“Liquorish? You hate Liquorish!” Says Rebecca.
“Not the candy, it's my dog, the most amazing dog in the world and also the cutest.”
Whilst doing her chores the radio announces something BIG! A competition! A voice comes through the radio.
“Are you the biggest Cuppy fan ever? Do you want the chance to spend the afternoon with Cuppy? If you do all you have to do is enter our competition and answer one question for the chance to win! Our Question is…….What is Cuppy's dog's name?”
Cuppy screams at the radio, LIQUORISH. It's LIQUORISH, LIQUORISH, LIQUORISH!
Rebecca says laughing, “They can't hear you”. You have to call in.
Cuppy calls the radio after many fans enter the competition and get the dog's name wrong. It's Cuppy's turn, the radio presenter asks the question to which Cuppy replies…..
“Liquorish, the dog's name is Liquorish,” insists Cuppy.
“We have a winner!” Says the radio presenter.
“What's your name please?”
Cuppy replies, “My name is Cuppy Cup.”
“Well, Cuppy Cup, in one week you're going to meet your idol the other Cuppy Cup. How does that sound?”
“One week!” Sighs Cuppy. “I want to meet her now! I need to meet her now!”
“Hold your horses, you will meet her in one week, thanks for calling in and I hope this will be the best gift ever," say the radio presenter.
After Cuppy ends the call, she says, “One week! what am I going to do, stuck here for one week?”
Chapter 7- MONTAGE 1
Cuppy spends her days living like a normal girl. We see Cuppy at first not going along with how Alice's family lives, with simple chores, sharing, and being nice to her sister and friends. Later in the week, we see the things Cuppy didn't like doing- like helping others. Cuppy starts to help Mum and the family, she starts to be nice to Rebecca, she helps clean and does chores and we see a different person. By the end of the week, Cuppy has transformed into a wonderful, generous human and we begin to love this new Cuppy.
On the other hand,
We see Alice going about her week as Cuppy. Alice who is nothing like the ‘real’ Cuppy starts to show her nice side. Alice in this week up to the competition starts to help others and show her assistant a different side of her, like cleaning her room, walking the dog, going to fun events, and having fun days with her entourage; even making her and everyone else cappuccinos. We see Alice makes everyone happy with sleepovers and food and Alice becomes very good friends with the people who thought that ‘Cuppy’ wasn't very nice to be around. Alice has changed their minds.
Cuppy is now fun.
Chapter 9 - The Day before ‘The day’
Cuppy is packing her things for her competition win. After packing her bag she takes it downstairs ready for the next morning. In the living room is Rebecca who is playing with a colourful bouncy ball.
“Be careful with that Rebecca,” say’s Cuppy.
“Relax! I'm always careful,” replies Rebecca.
The moment Rebecca says these words the ball hits off of the sofa and bounces towards a beautiful shiny vase belonging to her Mom. In slow motion, Cuppy's face turn to horror while Rebecca covers her eyes as they watch the vase fall all the way towards the ground. SMASHHHHHHHH! The vase breaks into a million pieces. Both Cuppy and Rebecca stand there….silent until they hear their Mom's voice.
“What was that?” Shouts Alice’s mom from the top of the stairs.
“Nothing!” Shouts Cuppy as she is quick to react.
“We will just see if it's nothing,” replies Alice’s Mom.
Both panicking, as they hear every footstep Alice's Mom takes coming down the stairs. Both girls stand in front of the smashed vase to try and hide it. Alice's Mom enters the room and screams in horror at what she is seeing.
“Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh!” cries Alice's Mom.
“Who did this? Whoever did this is in serious trouble.”
Rebecca starts to tear up and before she can say the words “It was me.” Cuppy gets there first.
“It was me. I'm really sorry," says Cuppy.
“Sorry!” says Mom. “You will be sorry after what I do. Grounded. 1 WEEK! You can also forget about meeting that Cuppy Cup because being grounded starts tomorrow.”
Alice's Mom storms into the kitchen to get supplies to clean up the smashed glass. She tells both girls to get to their room. Cuppy runs upstairs crying all the way as she runs and jumps on her bed face down. Rebecca follows in behind her.
“I'm really sorry Cuppy,” says Rebecca, “It was an accident.”
Chapter 10 - The Day
Cuppy wakes up. Rebecca is nowhere to be seen. Cuppy lays there in bed holding a stuffed teddy bear. She is very upset because she knows that she will not be allowed to go and meet Cuppy who is really Alice and switch her body back. Cuppy thinks that this is the only chance she will ever have and now it's gone and she will be forever trapped in Alice's body.
“What am I doing here? One month ago I was on posters, TV shows and the world loved me. I had so many friends I lost count of them all, and now….I'm sitting here alone. I bet you're wondering how I got here? Sometimes I think the same.Fame, it's such a funny business. One minute you're on top of the world and the next you're down here….At rock bottom.”
“Alice, Alice,” calls Mom.
Cuppy walks downstairs very slowly, taking her time with every step. When she reaches the bottom she goes into the living room where her Mom and sister are waiting.
“You're not even dressed, you're going to be late,” her mom says.
Cuppy stands confused and replies, “Late for what?”
“To meet Cuppy,” her sister replies.
“But I'm grounded,” says Cuppy.
“No, you're not. I am. I told Mom the truth, it was me who broke the vase and you were trying to help me by taking the blame. I'm sorry,” says Rebecca.
“We will talk about your punish later, Rebecca, but for right now, Alice has to get ready and on her way to meet Cuppy,” her mom insists.
All excited Alice A.K.A Cuppy runs upstairs tripping all the way excitedly towards her bedroom to get ready, as she knows that this is it; the day has finally come…..she's going home.
Chapter 11 - Almost done!
Whilst getting ready for the ‘The day’ Cuppy in a mad rush kicks something hard under her bed. Thinking she had spilled something, she quickly checks, and to her surprise, it's a box, which is labeled ‘Secrets-DO NOT TOUCH’. Cuppy takes the box and opens it on the bed. When she opens the box, we see pictures of the real Cuppy in her everyday life and many spells and enchantments. Cuppy now realises that Alice had placed a magic spell on her and instantly remembered how it happened.
“The CAKE!”
A call is heard from the bottom of the stairs, its mom calling to hurry as they were going to be late.
“Hurry up Alice,” shouts Mom.
Cuppy grabs the potion inside the secret box and puts it in her bag. Cuppy dashes downstairs and she's out the door with Mom and Rebecca in a flash. On the way, Mom says she has a gift for Alice to give to Cuppy. It's a strawberry cake, just like the last time. Cuppy thinks this is perfect as she had no idea how to give the potion to Alice without her knowing.
Chapter 12 - The Meet
Waiting in a black shiny Limousine is Cuppy A.K.A Alice. She is waiting on her guest to arrive. We see Mom pull up in the car, and wish Alice A.K.A Cuppy to have a great time. Rebecca gives Cuppy one big hug, the kind of hug you give when you know you’re saying goodbye forever. Off Cuppy goes, to get her old life back.
She enters the limousine, and before she can be welcomed by Cuppy, A.K.A Alice- she is sent in shock as she realizes, it's the real Cuppy!
“I bet you weren't expecting to see me,” replies Cuppy.
Speechless, Alice does not know what to say. Her assistant Lola recognises the face and replies,
“What are the chances of this, you win for a second time! Isn't that amazing? Queen Cuppy?”
Alice, aka Cuppy, replies, “Lola, would you be a dear and ride in the other car. I have some catching up to do.”
Riding in the car, Cuppy presents Alice with strawberry cake.
“Here, you're favourite, your Mom made it for us,” says Cuppy.
“Strawberry cake, amazing! I've not had this in so long,” says Alice.
Without hesitation, Alice dives in and starts to eat the cake while Cuppy regretfully eats hers.
“Have you had fun in my body, with my life?” asks Cuppy.
“I'm so sorry, Cuppy, I just wanted to have what you had. I wasn't going to do it at first, but then I saw how mean you were to everyone and decided it was time for you to learn,” replies Alice.
“Well, that's ok, I understand. I was not a very nice person. Having spent so long with your family, I have seen a better side of me, someone I want to be from now on,” cries Cuppy.
“I'm so glad you had fun, 'cause I sure did,” replies Alice.
“I'm glad you did, but now it's time for us to go back to our normal lives,” insists Cuppy.
Both Alice and Cuppy enjoy their day together and make really good friends. At the end of the day, they both say goodbye and thank each other for everything. Alice thanks Cuppy for allowing her to live her famous life and Cuppy thanks Alice for making her realizes she needs to be nicer to others. They both part ways as they know by morning they will have switched back to their normal lives.
Chapter 13 - The Switch
The very next day, both Cuppy and Alice are back to their bodies and are living their lives again. Cuppy is grateful for everyone around her and Alice is just glad to be back to her normal life with her Mom and sister Rebecca. A day passes and things are again normal…..until the second day when Cuppy wakes up in Alices' room and Alice wakes up in Cuppy's room.
Alice and Cuppy both in shock-shout, “Not again!!!!!!!!!”
