For long, I've been leaning back on my hands in the dark, dirty and damp cell with no windows. The mice and their leftover is a nauseating eyesore especially when one has just died and the stench begins to emit. The ceiling does not look safe and the appalling silence here slaughters every freeman's soul surrounded by evil ghosts in a cage. There is a hole as big as my palm on the right side of the wall towards the corner. I assume it is the only favorite thing between the dark walls. In the whole worlds, I believe it is the only place I feel special about. It lets the air in, the sun shines through it and as long as I'm allowed by the wardens, I can have a look outside. I believe destruction can make a new life sometime. The sky is gloomy and gray as well as the ceiling. Nothing worth watching out there and I rarely get interested to break. However, it sometimes breaks my heart that I'm not allowed to use my yard time like other prisoners and scared to request anything of the wardens. Then, I'm scared it's not fancy out there. Gray sky and tall buildings with no trees and birds.

I was detained by the brutal cops for an unknown reason. I've had no visitors for long here. My hands and legs are tightly tied and the wardens have been unduly careful and keen to prevent the prisoners from running away. They typically carry whiplash to punish when they get angry. They do not need to get angry, whenever they feel not well for any reasons they attack me and just my luck, they never feel well.

Oh my God. They saw me. I should hide. The wardens are coming with their whiplash. It's due now. They're in.

" What did I do? Why do you hit me? I promise I won't do that again. Please take it easy. I still suffer the wounds you left last time. "I yell. They whiplash intensely on my back and kick me in the legs so that I cannot stand again.

It seems today I'm lucky to pass the torture soon. However the bruises will show up later. For long after the catastrophe. Maybe they will never heal... like childish cries. I've always preferred the physical pain than mental. The wardens leave earlier than usual, today. The worst thing about them is that they never talk. I must sleep to forget the terrible moments of waking hours but I see worse nightmares when sleeping. I'd prefer drawing on the walls until morning. I love drawing in the dark.

It's dawn. I expect the lively daybreak from east. The shadows of two young men are visible coming up the hill to visit me. I need to get prepared. They approach and call my name while moving their hands in the air. They have the keys. I hear the sound of the door screech but this time I'm not scared. They come in.

- "What are you doing here, sir?"

- "I'm a prisoner, here."

- "No, you're not."

- "You mean I can go on leave? "

- "You're free forever. You've never been detained, sir. "

- "I don't understand. So what am I doing here? "

- "This is the question I need to ask you. I'm here to take you back. You've been missing for a couple of days.

- "Oh? That's bizarre."

- "Could you please follow me? "

-" To where? I can't trust you. "

- "You don't belong here sir. You must pass your final stage and go home afterwards. "

-"Home? Where is home? Is Susan home now? "

- "There is no home, sir."

- "But I miss Susan. I promised her to pass the imprisonment and go on vacation. Me, Susan and my little princess, Cathy. "

- "Let me untie you."

- "Oh, thanks. I have some dark bruise on my arms due to the low quality cuffs. Oh, by the way I have some bad cuts and scrapes to be covered on my back due to the harsh whiplash by the wardens. "

- "There have been no wardens here, sir."

- "But I see them every day. Look at my back. See??? "

- "I hope you remember what happened to you, sir. Try to accept the truth. "

-"what truth? I always accept the truth but I never welcome it. "I ask while going to the doorway.

It's sunny and clear today and the light is feeding me life and hope. I see no wardens out there. The prison is located at the spectacular hilltop where an eye catching view of the nature can attract any passer-by.

- "Sir, let me remind you."

- "OK. Go ahead. "

- "You had a harsh car accident last month and since then you've been doing abnormal things and we are here to help you."

- "And my wife and daughter?"

- "They died, sir. I'm sorry. "

- "So I deserve the prison and torture." I sob.

- "You were not fault, sir. It was just an accident. Crying makes no use."

-"Yes? Not all cries are heard. But I terribly miss them. It's fucking dark in here. Let's go. "
