**Deceived by a Dream
Milad, a 28-year-old with dark hair and piercing eyes, was striving to build a bright future. A graduate of mechanical engineering, he was diligently preparing to set up a small car repair workshop. Milad loved his work, and his every thought was focused on progress and success. Although he didn't yet own a house or a car, he was gradually acquiring the necessary tools and equipment for his workshop with savings he had accumulated from working on various projects.
One of these busy days, at a friendly gathering, he met a girl named Fatemeh. Fatemeh was a beautiful and attractive 25-year-old. She had long auburn hair, large dark eyes, and an alluring smile. Fatemeh was a law student and lived in a wealthy family.
From the first glance, a spark ignited between Milad and Fatemeh. Fatemeh's sweet smiles and words set Milad's heart racing. Milad, who had previously focused on his work and goals, felt that his world had taken on a new color upon seeing Fatemeh.
Fatemeh quickly expressed her feelings for Milad, and he, thirsting for affection and love, immersed himself entirely in her sea of love. The days were spent on romantic dates in cafes and restaurants, and the nights with sweet whispers on the phone. Milad felt like the happiest man on earth.
But this love had another side. Fatemeh gradually began making frequent requests. At first, she wanted small things, like buying a bag or a dress from a particular brand. Milad, not wanting to break Fatemeh's heart, tried to fulfill her desires as much as possible, despite his own financial difficulties. But gradually, Fatemeh's demands became bigger and bigger. She requested the purchase of an expensive mobile phone, trips abroad, and luxury gifts.
One day, Fatemeh told Milad that she was pregnant. This news came as a great shock to Milad. Not yet ready to start a family, and with his workshop not yet profitable, he didn't know what to do. Fatemeh pressured him with tears and cries, saying that if the baby were born, her family's reputation would be ruined. Milad, not wanting to cause disgrace to Fatemeh's family, reluctantly agreed to a bitter decision, despite his immense guilt: abortion.
This event left a deep wound on Milad's soul. He woke up every night with terrible nightmares, and a sense of guilt overwhelmed him. But because of the love he had for Fatemeh, and hoping that he could make her happy, he kept silent and tried to hide this pain in his heart.
After the abortion, Fatemeh's demands increased even more. She constantly checked Milad's phone, told him that she loved him, and at the same time, asked him for money, food, clothes, and everything else for herself and her family. Fatemeh even wanted Milad to financially support her siblings. Milad, blindly in love and not wanting Fatemeh to be dissatisfied with him, did his best to fulfill her desires. He even had to spend part of his savings to cover Fatemeh's expenses and forgo buying some of the necessary tools for his workshop.
But one day, when Milad was unable to fulfill one of Fatemeh's requests due to financial problems, her true face was revealed. In a humiliating tone, Fatemeh told Milad: "You don't have a house or a car. I'm so-and-so's daughter, and you're nothing! I deserve much more than this." And finally, she left him with this bitter sentence: "You can't fulfill my desires. I will marry someone who can make me happy and provide me with everything I want."
Fatemeh blocked Milad and never contacted him again. Milad later found out that Fatemeh was engaged to the son of one of the city's wealthy merchants.
For seven whole months, Milad was immersed in a sweet and deceptive dream of love, but suddenly faced with the slap of reality. Fatemeh had left him for his inability to fulfill her desires and went on to pursue a luxurious life with someone else. Milad, alone and broken, sat in his half-finished workshop with a heart full of pain and despair, wondering how he had been deceived by a dream. A dream that not only squandered all his savings but also left a deep wound on his heart and soul. He now had to continue his life with this excruciating pain and with the constant question of "Why?"
