Long in the history of medieval Aluu chiefdom, there lived a handsome boy Akire whose handsomeness and personality traits during his mid age attracted nearly if not all, then majority of ravishing girls from across all chiefdoms.
One day, his father Loyeramoi called on his wife Akidi to come and discuss with care on the way to keep off the beautiful young girls throbbing in at his home days and nights in search of Akire's hand for marriage.
In fact, it was a lengthy discussion that never put hold in an interval of time. Some of their neighbours grew in suspicion of what could have been occurring at Loyeramoi's home since for nearly six hours, they didn't see any of them, including the family members, who were all kept indoor. At last, a resolution was made, that, Akire must be taken and kept outside home in order to discern and thrwats off the influx of the trekking ladies yearning for him. He's to be taken deep and kept up ontop of the highest hill of all other hills in the Aluu chiefdom named Amyel hill.
The girls could come from near and far. Far as Kabong, Patiko, Pagaya, Atanga, Gulu, Paracelle and Pajok looking for Akire. Some carried with them bungle rings of "mola"- copper, which they hoped would serve as gifts to Akire for his kindness and the handsome that hovers his face. But at the back of their minds were full of an alternative to persuade and lure Akire into love. In the end, all turned out to be dissarryed. As known deep only to himself ( Akire ), a boy born of no nonsense of his age. He could softly confer upon their gifts as being earthly things, that shouldn't worry him. Possess pressing powers to drive human's minds off positive thinking and to wrong direction of thoughts and conclusion.
Akire was literally a little bit taken aback, reflecting what his father Loyeramoi used to tell him while at teenage, during their "Wang Oo" sittings. [ a man's evening fire place sitting]. He would inwardly think, I remember, my father used to say, that, "I shouldn't accept things / issues on mere ground of exchange for precious earthly things. And if I am to accept to do it, then, who am I to the eyes of my beloved father?" He retorts in irreversible quote.
This time, to him, the test time has come to explore and weigh his loquacious intelligence and to re-examine his memories in understanding situations.
The girls could come, either in a group or one by one. This time, one from as far as Gulu came searching for Akire. They arrived in the mid of the day, jolting themselves with extreme excitements as they carried on their heads the precious gifts wrapped in between their Africanically made white dress called "Olwa". Usually extracted from the bark of a certain tree as clothing material. Indeed, Akire's parents warmly welcomed them in the family's domain as normally they do to other visitors and thereafter, a few minutes later, they introduced themselves as girls from Gulu, the fartherest Chiefdom in the region. They said,"we heard of Akire long before, as the son of a noble humble man Loyeramoi from Aluu chiefdom, who carries his handsomeness high ontop of calmness. And we hear, he is a jolly and less lust for girls and with that, we do hope, if not of anything else, he shouldn't mind so much of other things other than picking up from one of us to be his rib".
The father, Loyeramoi quickly responded to their cries and assured them that, he wouldn't reject any plea from them and for that matter he would immediately send a message to the son, Akire as soon as possible.
Much as they have liked their arrival, it wasn't often and to prove to their full affection. In fact, it was intriguing to the gathered men who came to see Loyeramoi at his home. Besides, there were no cause of alarm. The men knew all what has been taking place at Loyeramoi's home, about his boy Akire whom the girls are dying for in love. The girls received wonderful reception in an ambient room with a round of applause. The thing which killed their second thought and in the end, they all begin to smile radiantly. But deep inside them were full of different thinking that can't easily be erased, the thoughts of either they have been accorded the jilted look or the ones with a last disdainful glance. Ultimately, as they all looks on, waiting for a reports coming back from Akire, they at first became timid to ask themselves for what they would do after Akire's jilted them. And what the reasons behind their coming? They all continued sitting in agony despite their blatant attraction to each other. They still stay as friends but above all, their beauty absolutely ended up being enjoyed by the general public as the father to Akire squint slowly in silent.
A few minutes later, without hesitation, the father sent off Lagu to go and call Akire. Lagu, one of his younger boys and the one whom he liked most due to his inquisitive and fastest response to situations. Besides, he would do exactly what is told and instructed of him to do without any delay. But that day, the weather was not so much wanting. In fact, threatening to rain cats and dogs. It was a total clouds cover that vastly surrounded the atmosphere. The sun was hidden behind the spongy dark clouds, and the reams of shadows engulfed the entire chiefdom. All corners of the skies are absolutely rounded with vast blankets of the different clouds cover accompanied with the magnificent sounds of thunderstorms that subsequently broke the hearts of the cowards. They cowered in terror as lightning shones in their eyes, and they crouched down in fear. Indeed, this heeds emotional trudge of fear in the hearts of the majority earth's creatures. The huge storms forced clasts of rocks to briskly swing on space. But Lagu tightened his atelophobia and continued with an urge without any haggard appearance on his face. Despite the frequent striking of the thunders, he kept the mission alive by walking through the forest onto the hill.
While leaving for the long journey, the father Loyeramoi instructed him ( Lagu ) to move on and should keep himself busy singing the native rhythm song for call while trumpeting Akire up the Amyel hill.
"Akire, Akire, Akire
Anyira lwongi doo!
Akire, Akire, Akire
Anyira lwongi
Anyira, Anyira, kwene?
Kiri-Kiri kir jaa
Anyira Anyira Gulu
Kiri-kiri kir jaa
Citi iwac ki maa
Kiri-kiri kir jaa
Ka oted gi kwon
Kiri-kiri kir jaa

Pe aloo ki got
An Akire wod Aluu
Pe aloo ki got
An Akire wod Polo
Pe aloo ki got."
Lagu kept on moving despite the violent tornado. He didn't want to disappoint his father and to violate the chains of respect he always gave them. He promised earlier that he would always respect and love his brother, Akire, as he usually does to his father and other members of the society. He continued trudging, passing through rough and sharp edges of isolated rocks searching for Akire. When Akire heard him by his usual voice, he lowered himself down to meet him. He didn't want anyone to know exactly on the hill where his "Ogoto" is ( hiding point ), hence leaving them in doubt of plain truth of the point for his whereabouts. Subsequently, he met him and he ( Lagu ) discussed in details all what take him to meet his brother Akire.
After the end of their discussions, Lagu quickly ran down, descended the hill and walked straight to the father to give back the report that, Akire rejected, citing many things and in the end, he said, "I should come and tell our mother to cook for them food to eat and then, they go back, for him he isn't coming, and that, he is a son of Aluu (air) and polo (space)." A short while, the father delivered the message to the girls that, my son Akire said, "he would see you later as he promised." Now, you young girls, you can go back from wherever you came from and I wish you good luck. "Ajut tuu obed kweyo kiken." Means your stubbs should only be the sand soil. They walked out of the living room a half hearted and energyless with each one of them figuring out beneath the heart what would have happened and transpired which in the end, stopped Akire to respond to their demand.
The father, Loyeramoi always had a positive mind. He dared not to show any disgrace to whatever type of girls who came to visit his home in search of his handsome son Akire.
He usually welcomed them positively, and at the time of them going back, he could wish them a safe journey and above all, "goyo laa maber"-wish them good luck.
Many of the girls kept coming from long distance searching for Akire. But in the end, Akire could badly disappoint them by refusing to come down to see and talk to them.
Akire was born class apart. He didn't have love for any woman / girl except his love for his mother, who birthed him. He promised to his parents in a deep resonant voice that, "never shall I one time bind myself in love for any girl whatsoever, and that, I would rather die without a child than to have troubles with women, describing them as 'hookers, pests and petty cooks." And at last he concluded, they are "No love lost" to his progress.
