Depression is something that shows itself differently for everyone. There is no one person, or one story, or one experience that can make someone universally understand truly how depression alters the lives of those of us who suffer from it. I can’t make anyone understand how it is for everyone, but I can tell you how it alters my life, and maybe that will help people understand how all-encompassing it really is.
In 2020, nearly half a million people in the country suffer from depression based on statistics from the National Health and Morbidity Survey (NHMS) conducted in 2019.
Statistics show that 2.3 percent of the country's people aged 16 and above suffer from mental health. it can be concluded that depression is not a playful disease. depression can cause a person’s daily life to be disrupted. mental health should be given priority. in 2020, it will be very challenging when the whole world is hit by the Covid-19 pandemic resulting in a health crisis that also affects the mental health of individuals.
The average society is affected by emotions such as anxiety, fear, isolation (isolation), uncertainty and emotional stress due to changes in the norms of life. This includes those working at risk as a result of job loss, loss of livelihood and financial constraints.
I was also among those who had financial problems when the Covid pandemic hit the country. Sometimes I can’t handle what I’m thinking and feeling, because it is too much for me to deal with, so I shut everything off so I don’t have to feel it. Various ways I have done to get out of this depression. I force myself to spend more time with my friends, because I know that the loneliness will pass and I can talk myself out of feeling lonely when I am not physically aloneand I read/watch anything romantic because it can give me to pretend that I am one of the characters. that all from me about depression in my life during pademic thankyouuu for reading my story.
