Foundation within the winds 

Running through the wind

As she fades away in a wisp

she faded like a blur in your eyes

As she swept away so did life,

Like leaves in the wind,

drifting away

Gasping wishing you would stay,

Till I didn’t stay, 

talking your control away.

So I went back.. to the bay, 

Where we had our first date, 

surrending, listening to the trust.

The lies with your manipulative abuse, 

l grew tired of screaming you are breaking me, 

Tearing the structure away,

It was never my fault you used me 

now your asking me to fill the emptiness 

A void a would never wish meet,

I despised not gloried; yet, as we demolished one another. 

I read the aura inside the builder’s heart, You’ll see that it was broken at the start, 

You never restarted just continued breaking more

As he had kneeled and plead, I stood against 

Winds that surrendered the sea,

Tides the moon could not tame,

Even an earthquake couldn’t shake me hard enough

To ever break my heart,

Like the wind that carried me away, 

hurricane winds will come astray causing your dream to wisp away. 

Like the foundation of what he had planned,

Would disappear as would he. 

Running through the wind,

finally free able to be, 

Whatever the wind whispers her to be.
