Once upon a time, in a land called Ayodhya, there lived a wise and kind king named Dasharatha. He had four sons and the eldest was named Rama. Rama was not just a prince; he was a hero loved by all for his goodness and bravery.

One day, King Dasharatha decided to make Rama the next king, but his plans were changed by his youngest wife, Kaikeyi. She asked the king to send Rama away for 14 years and install her son Bharata as king instead. Despite the king's grief, Rama agreed to go to the forest without any complaints.

Rama's wife Sita and his faithful brother Lakshmana decided to go with him. They faced many challenges in the forest, but Rama faced them all with courage and kindness.

The most famous part of Rama's story is when he saved Sita from the demon king Ravana. Ravana kidnapped Sita and took her to his island of Lanka. With the help of the monkey king Hanuman and his army of monkeys, Rama built a bridge to Lanka and defeated Ravana in a great battle.

After 14 years, Rama, Sita and Lakshmana returned to Ayodhya. The people of Ayodhya welcomed them with joy. Rama became king and his reign was known as "Ram Rajya", a time of peace and happiness.

The story of Lord Rama teaches us the importance of doing what is right even when faced with challenges. Rama's love for his people, his bravery and sense of duty make him a hero and an inspiration to all.

And so the story of Lord Rama is not just a story from the past, but a timeless lesson of goodness, courage and the victory of good over evil.
