Today, while traveling back home, we encountered a graceful woman who appeared to be in her 60s. She seemed saddened, and upon closer observation, we noticed that she was suffering from a serious illness. Her neck had stitches, her beautiful face had lost its eyebrows, and she had become completely bald. She was with her daughter in the caf�, and as I observed them, I noticed tears in the daughter's eyes as she was sharing something sad about her married life (she was wearing bangles and speaking loudly about her husband).

I couldn't help but be moved by this lovely mother's situation, both physically and mentally. Her daughter's tears represented the emotional pain she was enduring. Although I couldn't provide a solution to her problems, I felt compelled to show her that she was loved and cared for, even if just for a few minutes.

I asked my daughter Aadu to approach the courageous mother and ask if she could hug her. At first, Aadu was confused and questioned why I would suggest hugging a stranger. However, I explained to her the importance of showing gestures of kindness and love to others, even those we don't know, in their times of need. With a bit of shyness and nervousness, Aadu approached the woman and asked if she could hug her.

To my delight, the lovely mother opened her arms wide, embraced Aadu, and showered her with love. Encouraged by Aadu's encounter, I also approached the woman and requested a hug. Once again, she welcomed me with open arms, and a big smile appeared on her face.

I felt deeply grateful for this encounter, and I thanked God for the opportunity to show compassion to this courageous woman. As we returned home, Aadu still sought an explanation for why we had hugged the stranger. I told her that sometimes we cannot alleviate someone's pain or fix their problems, but we can greet them with empathy and understanding. By showing kindness and love, we can remind them that they are not alone and that God is always watching over them, even in their times of despair.

May God bless this lovely, courageous mother with a healthy, happy, and long life. May all her worries go away. May this encounter serve as a reminder of the power of compassion and the importance of showing kindness to those in need.
