In a lush green forest filled with tall trees and cheerful chatter, lived a curious little monkey named Baaji.

He was always full of energy and loved spending time with his monkey friends. But Baaji had a unique habit - every now and then, he would sneak into the nearby city, pick up strange human objects, and proudly bring them back to show off. His friends would clap and cheer in wonder, and that praise made Baaji feel like the smartest monkey in the jungle. He was overjoyed!

Well, who doesn't like to be praised? That joy made Baaji return to the city again and again, each time bringing back something new and unusual.

One day, during one of his visits, Baaji saw a man wearing something odd on his head - headphones! The man was nodding, moving his hands and feet to the rhythm of the music. Baaji found it fascinating.

"What is that thing on his head?" he wondered.

The moment the man removed the headphones and took a few steps away, Baaji quickly snatched them and ran back to the forest!

He placed them on his ears and was amazed - music was playing! The beat was so catchy, it made him want to dance. And so, Baaji danced with joy.

The other monkeys clapped and laughed.

"You're dancing so well!" they said, making Baaji feel even prouder.

But soon, the monkeys started asking,

"Hey, let us try! What's that sound? We want to hear it too!"

Baaji didn't want to share.

"Later, later! I'll give it later," he said and jumped from tree to tree, trying to avoid them.

The monkeys chased after him, calling out again and again - but Baaji didn't hear a thing. The music was too loud in his ears.

Then it happened.

While jumping from one branch to another, a branch snapped! Baaji fell to the ground. A few more branches fell on him, trapping him. The headphones flew off and landed nearby.

All the other monkeys rushed to help.

"How many times did we warn you not to climb that tree!" they scolded.

Baaji, now hurt and sad, said,

"So? you were chasing me to warn me? I misunderstood. I thought you were just jealous and wanted to take the headphones."

"You didn't hear anything we said?" they asked.

"No... I was listening to music," Baaji replied quietly.

That's when Baaji realized something very important.

He had been so lost in the music that he didn't even notice the danger around him. He had no idea his friends were actually trying to help him.

To make sure no one else made the same mistake, Baaji broke the headphones into pieces.

Then he said,

"It's enough! We monkeys don't need these human things. Let's stay in our forest and live happily - like we always have."

From that day on, Baaji lived peacefully with his group and never left the forest again.

Moral for You, Kids:

Just like Baaji, we must be careful.

Never walk, ride, or crossroads while wearing headphones or talking on the phone. It's dangerous.

If someone around you - a friend or an elder - does that, kindly remind them it's not safe. Many accidents have happened because people couldn't hear warnings while listening to music.

Music is beautiful - but there's a right time and place for it.

Listen at home. Not on the road.

And don't use headphones or earphones for too long - they can hurt your ears too.

Stay safe. Stay aware. Stay happy!
