As we finish our meal and I cleaned up the dishes,my thoughts were a jumble of emotions. I knew I had to find a way to prove Obika wrong,to show him that Chinonso is indeed my son. But how?

As I finish cleaning up the dishes, Chinonso started fussing in his high chair. I smiled and picked him up,crading him in my arms," hey little one, what's wrong?" I whispered, rocking him gently.

He looked at me with his big, round eyes and let out a tiny whimper. I knew he was tired and needed a nap. I carried him to his room and laid him down in his wooden crib, watching as he struggled into his blanket and closed his eyes.

As I watched him sleep,my heart swelled with love and gratitude. This little boy was my everything and I would do anything to keep him safe and happy. I made a silent promise to myself to always be there for him, no matter what challenges lay ahead.

Just then, Chinonso stirred in his sleep, his tiny hands flexing into fists. I gently rocked him back and forth, humming a soft lullaby to soothe him. As he settled back into a peaceful slumber, I felt a sense of resolve wash over me.

I knew that I had to confront Obika once and for all. I couldn't let his venomous words and secrets hang over me like a cloud, threatening to rain down on my happiness at any moment.

I took a deep breath, steeling myself for the confrontation ahead. I would not let Obika bully me or undermine my confidence as a mother. I was Chinonso's rock, his safe haven, and I would fight tooth and nail to protect him.

With a newfound sense of determination, I gently placed Chinonso in his crib and headed out to find Obika. The time for truth and reckoning had finally arrived.
