It was 10:00 A.M. on a Saturday morning. In the heart of a beautiful Island with a beautiful lake, a beautiful Swan named Tutu flew among the trees and landed on the water. His wings flapped back and forth as he was chasing after the ducks. As Tutu was chasing after the ducks, a swarm of butterflies flew over the lake.
Then came along a group of people on a boat heading toward the magnificent creatures. They all brought there food and supplies needed for a nice relaxing vacation on the Island. By the time they got closer to where the creatures were, the ducks were gone, and all that were left were the Beautiful Swan and Butterflies.
After they got to shore, they got off the boat and docked. Now they were on this beautiful island called Macatawa. There they saw a bunch of butterflies surrounding Tutu (the Swan). The people were amazed and captivated by the beautiful lake with Tutu and the butterflies that they grabbed a camera and started taking pictures.
After they took the pictures, a girl named Nakia, from the group, spotted a butterfly landing on the flowers. She was wearing a lavender blouse with black pants and a heart-shaped necklace along with diamond earrings. She couldn't resist the urge to grab the butterfly and when she tried to get near it, the butterfly flew away.
From that moment on, her heart was soaring with disappointment. However, she did not let her disappointment slow her down. Her motivation to collect the butterflies was matched by her determination. Nakia then decide go into the lake to catch them with her clothes that she was wearing. When she got into the water, she felt a cool breeze and started shivering. She immediately got out of the water anddried off. The Swan and the butterflies, were such beautiful creatures and were unpredictable. They seemed to have scattered from one end of the lake to the other.
Then all of a sudden, Nakia looked around her and saw a another group of butterflies surrounding her. She was so happy that she held her two hands out in the shape of a cup while the butterflies landed on her hands. Tutu (the Swan) finally got out of the water and came over. After Tutu came over, Nakia watched the butterflies fly right from the palm of her hands.
Meanwhile, the rest of the people were all taking pictures and having a wonderful time at this lovely scenery. With their camera's out, they took even more pictures, After that, they decided to have a picnic lunch and enjoy the rest of the day on the Island. While they were eating, everybody at the picnic heard some birds chirping. However, they were more focused on thw Swan, butterflies, and the Lake.
Back to Nakia, she felt that with each passing moment, her sense of excitement had enlightened her. But as the sun began to set beyond the horizon, she knew that the day of relaxation were coming to an end. She then realized that the butterflies had led to her to a peaceful place She paused and thought for a moment, "What if I meditate back to that beautiful scenery? How would my life lead to less drama if I only did more meditating and less worrying about the people around me?"
Deeper and deeper in thought, she wondered if she would ever find her way back in that moment.. But then, with each beat of her heart, she closed her eyes, remembering the horizon and the beautiful Swan and butterfliesthat surrounded her with love and joy. And as she emerged peacefully from the enchanted Island, she felt more calm and much more relaxed then she felt in her entire life.
Although the butterflies had led her on a wild goose chase and into the lake, the creatures have shown in their beauty, and made her happy.
Later on in the night, she settled down and closed her eyes while thinking of wonderful thoughts filled in her heart. Nakia knew that she would always cherish the memory of her journey to the Island, and sun setting in the horizon. As she closed her eyes, she dreamed of the next adventure that awaits her, knowing that no matter where her wings took her, she would always find her way back home.
