There she was standing in the doorway, waiting for her husband to come in from the car. She always greets him when he is getting home from work. As he is entering through the doorway, he gives her a kiss Hello, and asks her what's for dinner tonight? She says, why do you always ask what's for dinner, before I have a chance to ask how your day was? He said, its not really that hard to answer my question, is it? She looks at him with a puzzled look on her face, and just ignores him. She goes about asking him how his day was, and his response is, that it is like any other day of the week, that the answer didn't change. She says, okay, well, I had a decent day today. He says, did I ask you how your day was, for me to hear you tell me about it? She says no, but since your day was classified as the same day as every other day of the week, I thought, I would just go on to tell you my day. So, her husband, did not really care to hear how his wife's day was, and as she kept going on and on about it, finally told her, he does not wish to hear what she has to say. He told her he does not care how her day was, what she did, nothing.

Well, after, she heard this, she felt a deep sadness come over her. She wondered why, she no longer felt like anything she did or did not do, or how things went for her, mattered to her husband anymore. She felt alone on the inside. She had no one to share her day with, talk to, just want to listen. She sank down inside of herself, and went to make dinner. She loved to listen to music, so she put some music on while she was making dinner. Her husband yelled out to her from the living room where he sat down to watch the same shows on television that he watched daily, and told her the music was too loud. She told him it was not too loud, because she could barely hear it over the television. He told her to turn it down or turn it off.

It was happening again, the thoughts in her mind, that her husband, doesn't want her around, because he is always, scolding her that he doesn't want to talk to her about his day, does not want to hear her day, and now she cannot listen to music, because its interrupting with his ability to pay attention to his television.

She stops making dinner, grabs her keys, and decides, she needs to go for a drive, to calm herself down. She is starting to have anxiety, and if she stays in the house, she fears there is going to be something worse to come about. So, her husband asks her where is she going? She tells him she is going out to run an errand. He says what about dinner? She says, well, she's not hungry now. He says what about him? She says, you can make your own dinner, because I am going to be a while doing these things I forgot to do earlier.
