Down below the grand great plain , lives a colony of more than half a dozen rats. Rats are those crazy creatures that kill and bring the plague. All but one are filled with malice waiting for the next cold to begin. But remember when I said all but one? Our rat was the only one that brought joy to the world. He danced and sang, jumped and gleamed and was filled with butterflies and rainbows. He was a writer and a lover of books so i'll let him tell the story of himself.



Dear Friend

My name is Yorokobi. It means joy in Japanese. I have a lot to tell you about my ratinadians (rat-tee-na-dee-ans) they're all mean and cruel and despicable. There was this one time where they made a deal with Resheph to help spread the bubonic plague and let me tell you they were aching for days. I'm an ashamed friend ashamed of being a rat being symbolized as a bringer of destruction. I want to change for the better and be happy being stuck in a body of a rat.
