Ruffus didn't get far before he encountered his first challenge. A large rock lay in his path, towering over him like a mountain. The surface was rough and smooth, with cracks that seemed impossible to climb.

He hesitated for a moment, but then his determination kicked in. "If I can climb this, I can do anything," he muttered to himself. Ruffus focused all his energy on the task at hand. Using his tiny legs and sharp mandibles, he began to scale the rock.

It was hard, and more than once he slipped, but he never gave up. With a final push, he reached the top, looking out over the meadow. The view was breathtaking. Ruffus couldn't help but feel proud. "One challenge down, many more to go!"
