Everyone is eager to learn embroidery, but no one wants to share their knowledge. They fear that if they teach someone, that person might take the credit and receive all the praise. Sakthi struggles with this thought. What if someone else becomes better than her? What if they get more recognition? These doubts make her hesitant to share what she knows.
Sakthi enjoys embroidery so much that she personalizes gifts for her friends by stitching their initials with flowers or their favorite animals. On special occasions, like birthdays, she surprises them with handmade embroidered gifts. Even her teachers receive beautifully crafted gifts on their birthdays, which brings them so much joy. Her classmates admire her skills and ask her to teach them embroidery.
One day, their teacher visits Sakthi's mom at the shop and is amazed by all the beautifully displayed handwork. She praises Sakthi's talent and suggests that she teach her classmates. The entire class is eager to learn, but Sakthi refuses, fearing that she will lose her uniqueness.
The teacher then approaches Sakthi's mom with a request: "Could you visit our school and teach embroidery to the children? They are so eager to learn, and it would be wonderful if you could guide them."
Sakthi's mom agrees and plans a visit without informing Sakthi. The next day at school, the teacher announces, "Children, today we have a special guest - Sakthi's mom! She will be teaching us all how to do embroidery since Sakthi has learned everything from her."
Sakthi is shocked and upset. She feels betrayed that her mom is about to teach her secret skill to everyone. As the lesson progresses, however, she sees how excited and happy her classmates are. Slowly, she realizes that sharing knowledge doesn't take away her talent. Instead, it makes her more respected and admired. She understands that true mastery comes from teaching and inspiring others.
By the end of the lesson, Sakthi smiles as she watches her friends create their own embroidered designs. She joins them and starts sharing tips, realizing that knowledge grows when it is shared. Her teacher and mom are proud, and her classmates appreciate her even more.
"If you want to be an expert, you have to teach others," her mom tells her. And from that day forward, Sakthi embraces the joy of sharing her skills, knowing that true greatness comes from lifting others up.
