The event detail on the leaflet in Christy MacDonald's hand simply stated that, on May 15th, 2005, for one day only, the Town Hall, Kingston, Ontario, would host a showcase of the area's finest Contemporary and Traditional Quilts and Wall Hangings. The exhibition was only a small part of a Canadian wide craft festival, but to Christy it was the event of the century.
