"Not the kind of guy who commits?" she interrupted, her expression turning cold. "I get it, Rohit. You don't have to say it."
She pulled her hand away, her heart sinking. "I've already paid too much in the past for trusting the wrong man. I won't make that mistake again."
Without another word, Priya turned and walked away, leaving Rohit standing by the waves, watching her disappear into the night.
