As a single child, many people assume that you're spoiled and get everything you want. However, being from a privileged family doesn't necessarily mean that you're pampered or a spoiled brat. There are always two sides to every coin. Unfortunately, in some households, children are subjected to mental, emotional, and physical abuse. They are often blamed by their parents for any problems that occur at home or in the family business. Moreover, parents often pressure their only child to fulfill their dreams, regardless of the child's wants and needs. In some cases, the child is publicly humiliated by family members and experiences repeated physical assaults, including hitting and burning parts of the body, among others. It's difficult to imagine how the child might feel at such a tender age.

According to a study conducted by Harvard, young children's early emotional experiences become embedded in the architecture of their brains as they develop. The emotional well-being of young children is closely tied to the social and emotional characteristics of the environments in which they live. Parents and family members might not realize the significant impact their actions can have on a child's life. As children grow up and enter adolescence or adulthood, they may develop social anxiety, phobias, and a fear of being judged. This can lead to self-doubt, low confidence, and an inferiority complex, making it challenging for the child to face the world.

It's essential for parents to understand that humiliating their children can have a negative impact on their mindset. They should avoid engaging in such behavior and instead strive to create a supportive and nurturing environment that fosters their children's emotional and mental well-being.
