Once, there was a fisherman as he set up his stall at the corner of a busy road. He had a variety of fresh fish and placed a signboard that read: "Fresh Fishes for Sale Here".

One day, a customer approached him, glanced at the sign, and said, you're already selling here, so why mention "here". The fisherman thought for a moment and decided to remove the word here from the board.

A little while later, another passerby stopped and remarked, You wouldn't be selling spoiled fish, so why emphasize "fresh" The fisherman considered this and erased fresh from the sign.

Soon after, another customer arrived and pointed out, obvious you're selling fish, so why to state "fishes for sale" Convinced again, the fisherman removed the remaining words, leaving the board completely blank.

Days passed, and a new visitor approached the stall. Mentioned, he like to buy two kgs of fish, and added "why didn't you put up a sign? I almost didn't realize you were selling here.

The fisherman was left speechless.

Moral of the story: If you keep listening to every suggestion, you may lose sight of your own purpose and struggle to run your business or your life on your own terms.
