Sarah was babysitting for a 4 year old girl who just moved to her street a week ago. Arian, the girl gelled with Sarah very quickly. Arian's parents went out for a date night and won't return till morning 3 am. Sarah and Arian played hide & seek, watched, ate their favourite snacks and they did everything what a 16-year old girl and 4-year old girl do together. Night passes as such, it's 11 pm and Sarah tucked Arian in her bed.
I am scared Sar....Arian stammers,
What's wrong sweety ?, Sarah asks.
That man will come.., Arian says

A chill runs down Sarah's spine, she knows that it's just Arian nightmare but her gut feels so weird and wrong now. She can feel the goosebumps building up in her arm.
Do-Does he talk ?, Sarah stutters.
No, he doesn't he just looks at me and gasps for air, Arian replies.
Sarah's heart starts beating so fast, she knows it's a nightmare but something about Arian's words don't stay right with her. She takes her iPhone and checks the time it's 11:15 pm.
Okay you know what ? Arian I'll come to your room by 12 am Okay ? Now you go to sleep. Sarah assures Arian.
Arian smiles and slowly drift to sleep. Sarah goes to kitchen, her stomach feels weird and she feel like she is going to throw up. After some time she checks the time and it says 11:58 pm.
This is the right time, she sums up all her courage and marches her way to Arian's room. Her shaking hands clutching the door knob and she opens the door.
For her surprise, Arian is in a deep sleep in her bed and her room is so calm. The room is only filled with moonlight which is coming from the window glass.
Sarah sighs and go near Arian and runs her fingers through Arian's short silky hair.
The clock strikes midnight the grandfather clock makes noise. A stunned Sarah realises that Arian's house doesn't have a grandfather clock but the sound is coming from Arian's room, to be more accurate the sound is coming from right behind Sarah.
Suddenly, Arian wakes up making a growling sound like an wild fox and looks at the ceiling with a stunned eyes. A stunned Sarah looks behind her.
There it was.
A grandfather clock whose number's are glowing in a green light have appeared from nowhere and a dark silhouette of a man who is hanging from the ceiling have appeared. Sarah couldn't move, couldn't scream and couldn't even breather for a sec. As her eyes roll up to see the man's face. But she couldn't see the man's face it's just dark. More like black, even the moonlight couldn't light up his face. His face was just black until he opened his eyes. His green glowing eyes opened suddenly looking at both Sarah and Arian. Sarah is stunned and paralysed in fear as she rolls her eyes to the left looking at the time of grandfather's clock. The clock finally showed 12:15 am as both the hanged man and Clock disappear quickly.
By 4 am, Arian's parents returns home and they find Sarah's dead body near Arian's bed. A crying Arian rejoins with her parents. They call the police home and they started to investigate their home.
Sarah's autopsy report showed that she died of heart attack.
Arian and her parents decides to vacate the house and move out, but they know for a fact that Sarah didn't die of heart attack but because of Hanged man. The same hanged man who killed their daughter's previous babysitter Lola, The same hanged man who killed their daughter's previous babysitter Tanya, The same one who killed Babysitter Paul, The same one who killed Babysitter Kai.
They have to give these young souls to Mr. Hanged man otherwise he will take their daughter's. They know it's a sin but they have to do this, for the sake of their daughter. After all it's their ancestors who made the hanged man hang himself near his grandfather clock which was gifted by Arian's great grandfather. The family curse will continue until this family exist.

Until Arian's kids come into picture.

Many babysitter will loose their young lives for the sake of Arian's family's lineage.
Because, the hanged man will always follow their kids and they have to protect their kids and to protect their kids they have to give a replacement.
The hanged man's thirst for revenge will never stop.
