On June 15th, at the beginning of summer, Katie and her best friend Tim decided to spend the entire season at his family cabin. They invited a few friends from work and school to join them. As everyone started to arrive, Katie took the lead in organizing activities, and others contributed to creating a list. Katie proposed to Tim, Amber, and Tony that they kick off the night with a campfire, food, and beers, and then gather feedback from the rest of the group. Everyone agreed, and Amber confidently assigned two other boys, Hank and Sheldon, to go to the store to get the beers.

Meanwhile, Katie asked Tiffany, the newest addition to the group, to accompany her to the store to get the food to ensure her comfort and well-being. While Katie and Tiffany were at the store, Amber, Tim, and Tony stayed behind to set up the bonfire and tables. About an hour later, everyone reconvened with all the ingredients they had been tasked with acquiring.

As they all were hanging out and having fun, telling all their wildest of stories and drinking Tiffany started to hear a strange noise and was starting to get scared. She tried to brush off the noise just assuming that it was just sounds from animals in the woods that surrounded them. After a few hours, each one of the friends started to hear what sounded like their names one after the other but only loud enough for each one to hear it. After a few more hours they decided to call it a night and started to head off to bed. One by one they all staggered to their assigned beds. As they all slept soundly. A loud thud wakes the whole cabin knocking everyone out of their bed. They all get up and run to see what the noise is. When they approached the living room quarters they were approached by Shelly, the friend forgetting that she would be arriving late. After greeting their friend the group returns to bed.

As they were all hanging out, having fun, telling their wildest stories, and enjoying their drinks, Tiffany started to hear a strange noise and became increasingly concerned. She initially tried to dismiss the noise as just sounds from animals in the surrounding woods. However, after a few hours, each of the friends began to hear what sounded like their names being called out, one after the other, but only loud enough for each one to hear. After a few more hours, they all decided to call it a night and headed off to bed. One by one, they all staggered to their assigned beds. As they slept soundly, a loud thud woke the whole cabin, knocking everyone out of their beds. They all quickly got up and ran to see what the noise was. As they approached the living room, they were surprised to see Shelly, the friend they had forgotten, arriving late. After greeting their friend, the group returned to bed.

In the morning as the friends get ready for a day at the lake Shelly finds an invitation pinned to the outside door. The invitation invites all the friends to a dinner party at a nearby mansion. Shelly takes the invitation to her friends excited that they got invited to a mansion. As the friends all talked about the invitation and decided to attend to party, they called the number and sent the invitation back to the mansion. They started to get ready for their day. As they walk to the lake they talk about what they would wear to the dinner party as they have never had an invite before let alone stepped foot in a mansion. As the day goes on and the friends spend time swimming and listening to music Hank notices that Amber is not anywhere near. Hank calls his friends informing them that Amber is missing. The friends gather up their things and go in search of her. They spend what feels like hours looking for her and decide to head to the cabin assuming that she might have just gotten tired and gone to talk a name, when they enter the cabin they find Amber standing in the middle of the living room in what looked to be in a trance like stances. They approached her call out to her but she did not make a sound or ever turn in their direction. Katie puts a hand on Amber's shoulder, and Amber finally comes too and addresses her friends. Amber announced "Oh Hey Guys" then continued with a What's wrong? Katie said to Amber did you not hear us calling out to you, Amber said to Katie, No I was just so focused on what I found. Amber points to the dining room Katie looks to where she is pointing, and as she walks towards the dining room Katie sees what looks to be a few tall dark figures, she walks closer and sees that it is?not a fugue but clothing bags on a stand. Katie calls for the others who come running in their direction. The friends look to see what Katie and Amber are pointing to and walk towards the bags. Each bag as they looked has name tags on them. Their names with instructions to not open until 30 minutes before the time of the dinner party. There was even a note telling them that there would be a car that would arrive to pick them up and a servant to help each one get ready.

Each of them confidently takes their assigned clothing bag and heads to their rooms, placing their bag on their bed and staring at it. They start to prepare for the night when suddenly Tiffany hears a knock coming from the front door. She yells to Sheldon to get to the door. As he confidently walks down the stairs, he tells Tim and Tony to go with him. The two playfully tease Sheldon for not being "man enough" to go on his own. The trio reaches the door and confidently opens it, finding seven servants standing there. Each of the servants confidently introduces themselves as servants of the mansion and offers to come in and assist them in getting ready. Sheldon confidently escorts the servants to their assigned guests. The servants go into the room, thank Sheldon, and confidently close the door behind them. About 30 minutes go by and there's another confident knock on the front door. A confident voice announces his entry and confidently tells them that it's time to go. Each of the friends confidently comes down the stairs one by one with their servant at their side and confidently climbs into the awaiting car.

The car pulls up to the mansion and the Schafer opens the door, the friends slide out of the car and gather together in front of the mansion door. Once the Schafer closed the door to the car. The door to the foyer opens up and the friends are escorted in. Once in the mansion, a servant leads the friends to the dining hall, they find their names in their assigned seats, and take their place. ?Once seated, a tall handsome gentleman with long blonde hair and a full beard takes a seat at the head of the table. The friends all looked at the man in disbelief of the man's beauty, his skin looked so shiny, so smooth that he almost looked majestic, angel-like. Then the servers brought out the first course, the servers said "Tonight's first dish is lamb with steamed mixed vegetables drizzled with a basil galosh, but before we could start eating, the man clinked his glass and stood up and started to speak, The man said "Good evening my name is Sir. Malcolm and I would like to first say, thank you for coming to my home. I'm sure you are all wondering why you have been invited and I will get to all that very soon, but firstly I would like to say. Tim the black suit with the hint of copper was a wonderful pick for you, I knew the softer shade of reddish-orange was always your favorite color, Tiffany your gown is a breathtaking violet color you've always looked beautiful in that color, Sheldon you have always been a very strong blue and the darkest the better has never been a bad choice for you, Hank you've always liked the flashing thing quite the vibrant soul you are. Ms. Amber always the bell of the ball when wearing pink one thing that I have always loved about you. Tony, you have always shied away from who you have always been, an information most of the people around you don't know, so I wanted to put you in white to reflect your purity, and as for the be loved Katie I draped you in green the most royalist of emeralds as you carry yourself with the most elegance and pose." The friends all look at each other in confusion. Sir. Malcolm takes his seat and tells them all they may eat.

As the friends slowly begin to savor their food, the servers bring out wine, and the drinks start to flow. They let go of any doubts or questions. Then the servers remove the first dish, and the second course is served. The server places the dish in front of each guest and announces, "The dish in front of you has been hand-picked by the master of the house. Each dish is one of your favorite meals. Please enjoy." As they remove the cover, the friends are shocked to find something they have only ever had with someone they have truly loved but who is no longer alive. They have a perplexed look on their faces, and fear spreads across a few of them as it was information that had never been told to anyone, and they wanted to forever remember and cherish that day. Sir Malcolm again announces "You may eat." The friends complied with the man's request and began to eat with hesitation. Once again, drinks were served, and this time the drinks got stronger. The friends let go of their worries as the conversation flowed, and everyone laughed and had a good time. Sir Malcolm stood up and asked their friends to follow him. They got up, took their drinks, and followed him to the reading room. Sir Malcolm invited the friends to take a seat or explore the room. As the conversation picked up, Sir Malcolm pulled aside one friend at a time for a one-on-one conversation to "get to know them better." Each friend was taken to a different room, and Sir Malcolm announced that he would be back momentarily, closing the door behind him. He repeated this until all individuals were in their assigned rooms. As the fog began to clear from their minds, they realized they were not all together and had no recollection of how they got to their assigned rooms or how long they had been there.

The atmosphere cleared as the friends heard the authoritative voice of an announcer warning them of an impending confrontation with unimaginable evil. Suddenly, a wall opened, and a demon emerged, prompting the announcer to challenge the friends to decide their fate. Each friend was then confronted by a different demon in separate rooms, with a wall of small TVs displaying their struggles. The commanding voice of Sir Malcolm, the master of the house, resonated through the intercom as the demons took their places.

"I'm sure you are wondering by now what is exactly going on. So let me tell you, the cabin is mine and you all have come onto my property I have been on this planet for over a century collecting the souls of everyone to come. You might ask why I would do something too cruel and to answer that I do it because I want to watch each individual suffer and ultimately die brings me the most pleasure. Sir. Malcom began to laugh the evilest and disturbing laugh as he was already getting enjoyment.

Out of nowhere, the lights on Tony's camera are cut off and his room is pitch black then screaming, you can hear Tony crying and the fear in his voice, the lights cut back on, and?Demond who was in Tony's room has him in his hand. The Demond speaks some things in a language that is only clearly known to the thing it was talking to and in a blink Sir. Malcolm appears and bites Tony. Before taking his leave, Sir. Malcom says something again in this unknown language and before disappearing Sir. Malcolm announces no blood is quite pure then the blood of a virgin, then the Demond Rips Tony apart.

Then Sheldon starts to mumble "Oh no please god no" The lights start to flicker and Sheldon is seen running from corner to corner as if a game of cat and mouse is happening. The lights stop flashing and Sheldon stands still, a demonic laugh heard as the shadow falls on Shelly the Demond cuts her neck and places a cup under her tilted head and the cut fills Shelly crying and pleading with the Demond then another laugh as the Demond levitate Shelly's body and then an explosion. Sir. Malcom then appeared taking the glass of blood and drinking it then again disappearing.

As the friends continue looking at the camera, in one room the image changes almost as if it was capturing the entirety of the room. The door opens and the camera changes direction and zooms into the door. ?A shadow is seen slowly moving to the door it's Amber. ?She approached the door and slowly peeked?her head out, when it looked as if the cost was clear Amber stepped through the door, and then another door stood in front of her. She opens it walks through the door takes her to Sheldon's room. She runs to him hugging him so tight once she lets go a rope drops itself around their necks, pulling them up and they hang gasping for air and their faces turning blue the demonic figure appears placing one hand on both of their feet, slowing pulling down on them until their bodies slowing start to rip off their bodies. As the bodies fall to the ground lying in a puddle of their blood. The Demond makes a call summoning Sir. Malcolm, when he appears the Demond scoops up the blood one at a time feeds the blood to him, and then makes his way out the room.

After the deaths of Amber and Sheldon, a little time passed and things were quiet. Not sure of the time of day, a sound came from the intercom. It was Sir Malcom's voice. He began by saying, "It appears to be late at night, and if my assumptions are correct, everyone might be hungry." He finished by saying, "This is a moment of despair, and food will be served in the dining hall in 30 minutes. I suggest that everyone make haste." Then the intercom disconnected. A few minutes went by and the doors opened. From the looks of everyone's cameras, no one had moved from the spots they had taken. Then Sir Malcom's voice came on overhead, stating that this would be everyone's only chance for food. If not, the doors would close, and everyone would die in their standing place.

As each person makes their way to the dining hall, they are welcomed by the amazing smell that fills the air. They take one look at each other and continue forward. Upon reaching the dining hall, they find the room elegantly lit and the food mesmerizing and beautifully presented. The friends sit down at the table and, with some hesitation, begin to reach for the food. They indulge themselves, eating as if it were their last meal. Suddenly, they hear Sir Malcolm's voice over the intercom. He admits that he's glad the four of them trusted him, but he confesses to having ulterior motives. He reveals that he has added poison to some of the food and hopes that they choose wisely. The remaining four friends look at each other in confusion, not sure what was just said. Hank sits down in one of the chairs, staring off into what looks to be the abyss. All of a sudden Hank gets up and starts walking, leaving the other friends in confusion as they look around, not sure what is going on. Then he started to talk, but nothing was in front or around him. Then he says, "I have a plan."As each person makes their way to the dining hall, they are welcomed by the amazing smell that fills the air. They take one look at each other and continue forward. Upon reaching the dining hall, they find the room elegantly lit and the food mesmerizing and beautifully presented. Hank reached out as though he was giving what looked to be a hug. Then he turns around his face blank, no expression no words could explain what was happening to him. Hank runs to the friends in a panic the friends not understanding what's going on stand still. Hank runs to Tiffany and grabs her, he begins to choke her Tiffany fighting with all her might still in confusion starts to claw at Hank fighting for her life. As Hank continues to choke Tiffany her body goes limp and Hank drops her to the ground. When Hank comes to he sees what he has done and starts to cry, in complete disbelief as to what he just did. Hank runs to the table his friends move away scared of their friend. He sees this and grabs a knife off the table. His friends scream yelling at him to stop but he doesn't Hank slits his own throat, and he falls to the ground. Then the lights go off, and in that brief moment, they kick back on. ?Sir. Malcolm now in the room is present making everyone tremble in fear.?

It's now only Katie and Tim they run to each other scared as to what's going on, and how they got to where they are now. How is it even possible that this has happened to them? Then Sir. Malcolm shows up he tells Katie that he has some news he would like to share with her, but before he does he asks her?one thing. Tim looks at Sir. Malcolm and then to Katie, Time tells him that whatever he is going to say he should just keep it to himself. Katie not understanding what's going on asks Sir. Malcolm what it was he wanted. Sir. Malcolm tells Katie that all he wants is a taste of her blood. Katie asked Sir. Malcolm why, he said that it was to scratch his curiosity, but for her to know what he was going to say she had to give him what he wanted. Katie with hesitation agreed to Sir. Malcolm demands, she unbuttons her blouse exposing her neck. Tim looks at Sir. Malcolm his face expresses that he doesn't tell her. Sir, Malcolm looks at Tim and a smile spreads across his face. He bites into Katie's neck and the look of pleasure spreads across his face, as his eye goes white his face tells Tim everything he needs to know. Sir. Malcolm finishes drinking from Katie, telling her that her blood is the most magnificent blood he has ever tasted. When he was done he told Tim and Katie that there was so much more he wanted from Katie, in the blink of an eye he was standing next to Tim he whispered in his ear and Tim's face turned white. Tim begs Sir. Malcolm did not, Katie in confusion asked what was going on. Sir. Malcolm tells Tim to tell Katie but Tim refuses. Sir. Malcolm cuts Tim but he does not bleed. Katie freaks out yelling at Tim, asking why he was not bleeding. Sir. Malcolm aging tells Tim to tell her.

Tim took a deep breath, put his head back, and looked at the ceiling for a moment before turning to Katie. He opened his mouth, but nothing came out at first. Then he said, "Your blood has shown the master your bloodline." Katie was confused as to why her best friend referred to Sir. Malcolm as "master". Tim explained that her bloodline indicated that she had vampiric blood in her ancestral line, which meant that the master would be able to create a bloodline with her.

Katie screamed, "WHAT THE HECK ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?"

Sir. Malcolm then told Katie that for her to live, she would need to give him a child and become his wife. After pulling herself together, Katie told Sir. Malcolm that she would agree to his terms only if he first told her what he was meant to tell her beforehand. Tim looked at Sir. Malcolm pleaded with him not to continue. Sir. Malcolm asked Katie if she was sure about what she was asking for, and Katie agreed. As Sir. Malcolm began to talk, Tim cut him off and expressed to his master that he should allow him to tell her. After a moment of consideration, Sir. Malcolm agreed. Tim takes a deep breath, puts his head back looks at the ceiling for a moment then looks back at Katie. He opens his mouth but nothing leaves quite yet. Then he said, your blood has shown the master your bloodline. Katie was confused as to why her best friend called Sir. Malcolm's master. Tim gazes at Katie and slowly opens his mouth to speak, but Sir Malcolm interrupts, saying, "Oh Katie, my dear, has your loving best friend not told you... tsk tsk tsk. You should have been honest with our dearest Katie. Now you will get to be with each other for the rest of your dead lives. But only after I get my babies." Then he leaves Katie looks at Tim then always in discussion of what was told to her. Tim confidently attempts to speak, but Katie turns her back. Undeterred, Tim walks over to Katie, firmly places his hands on her shoulders, and gently turns her around, pulling her into his embrace. He holds her tightly and expresses his deep regret, assuring her that he never intended to cause her harm. As his best friend, he was unaware of Sir. Malcolm's intentions. Katie, visibly upset and furious, begins to cry and scream at Tim, demanding to know how and why this happened. Tim tells her he's not sure how or when everything happened, he only remembers his parents saying things here and there but never anything actual, except one time they told him that a time would come and that there would be nothing anyone would be able to do about it. They told him that their family carries a curse and has carried it for thousands of years and that essentially this "thing" owns their family's soul even at birth. ?Then Sir. Malcolm reappeared, he's walking towards the two friends Tim whispered to Katie to kill him when the time was right and to try to get a message out to his parents so that their bloodline would be known longer.

Sir Malcolm confidently approached Tim and Katie, directing them to follow him without hesitation. They eagerly complied, intrigued by what awaited them. He led them into an elegantly decorated room where his staff was ready. With a sense of excitement, he proclaimed that he had orchestrated a spectacular evening and wished for them to prepare accordingly.

Servants swiftly presented a selection of exquisite masquerade ball gowns, each more stunning than the last. Despite the unusual situation, Katie and Tim were undeniably captivated by the striking beauty of the dresses. taking Katie's hand firmly, Tim declared his love for her as they walked toward the staff. Once they were ready, they stepped out together, and Katie gracefully moved toward Tim. Clad in a gown as white as a swan, adorned with shimmering gold flakes, she exuded confidence and elegance. Tim, thoroughly enchanted, embraced her tightly, reiterating how breathtaking she looked before stealing a kiss.

As they lingered in the moment, the unmistakable sound of footsteps approached. Tim rested his forehead against Katie's, sharing a quiet connection until Sir Malcolm cleared his throat to announce his presence. Leaning in close, Tim whispered to Katie, "Remember what we discussed."

Without hesitation, Katie confidently crossed the buzzing ballroom, her eyes locking onto Tim's as he approached. She candidly stated that this last dance had been granted to her as a purposeful courtesy before her marriage to Sir Malcolm, transforming this moment into one she would always remember. As the two friends danced their way around the ballroom, Katie leaned in and shared an unusual idea with Tim. They could find a way to take charge of their night. She suggested that when they approached the tables with food and utensils, she would discreetly pick up a knife. On their second pass, they would work together to ensure they both had one, reinforcing their plan and commitment to each other. When the moment arrives for Sir Malcolm to announce his plans, they will spring into action. Together, they will plunge their knives into each other, choosing to die side by side. Katie and Tim decided to refresh themselves with a campaign flute, demonstrating their initiative. The moment then shifted to Katie, as Sir Malcolm expressed his intention for her to become his wife. He invited her to join him, signaling the beginning of a new chapter in their lives together. Katie and Tim walked confidently toward Sir Malcolm. As they approached, Tim intentionally released Katie's hand, prompting a look of confusion on her face. With a decisive nod, Tim communicated his intention, and Katie quickly grasped what was unfolding. When she reached Sir Malcolm, he took her hand firmly. Just as the moment was about to unfold, Tim stepped forward, announcing that he had a quick announcement to make before they officially became one.

Sir Malcolm's face reveals a flicker of annoyance, but he allows Tim to speak, fully aware that this is the last time he will see his beloved. With purpose, Tim strides over to Katie and takes her hand. He finishes his story confidently and pulls Katie into a firm hug. At that moment, Tim leans in and whispers to her, "Now!" They drive their blades deep into one another piercing their hearts.

When Sir Malcolm becomes aware of the situation, he swiftly approaches Katie, lifting her in a moment of urgency. In his desperation, he attempts to bite her, but Katie has ventured too far beyond the point of no return for even his vampiric blood to have an effect. She leans in and whispers to Sir Malcolm. I will never be yours, not in this life and certainly not in the next. There is no lasting end for you; nor me allowing?you to take my will, life, or body. She looks over to Tim's limp lifeless body, He is the last thing she is to see as the life dissipates from her eyes.

Sir. Malcolm is infuriated with Katie's ungratefulness. Takes her body burning it and submerging it in the bottom of the ocean, for if he could not have her no one ever will. As for Tim's body, his body is taken and placed on the other far end of the world opposite Katies. Soon Sir. Malcolm and his mansion started to disappear from any form of what history would be there. Or so that's what he wants everyone to think.
