Johnny-Bee Kendrick was born October 9, 1945 to the late Jimmy Lee Kendrick and Essie Mae Love of Tampa, Flordia. Betty Eugene Handsford was born April 22, 1946 to the late Eugene Handsford and Sharonda Breedlove of Bainbridge,GA.
Johnny-Bee Kendrick parents Jimmy Kendrick and Essie Mae Love moved from Tampa and moved to Bainbridge close to Essie Mae grandparents Thomas Tremain Love and Gladys Love also to move close to Johhny-Bee grandparents James and Florence Kendrick. Johnny-Bee started school at Jones Wheat Elementary in 1950. The school was filled with nice, educated teachers who cared about student Johhny-Bee teacher name was Dr. Henry and Betty Teacher name was Miss. Jones. Johhny-Bee didnt have any friends neither than Betty so Johhnny-Bee walked to Betty saying, "I'm Johhny-Bee and you are" Betty said "Betty" Johnny-Bee asked her, "Are you okay Betty said said "yes are you",then Betty and Johnny-Bee became best friends.
In 1955, there was a school dance Johnny-Bee didnt have anyone to take to the dance so he asked Betty, Betty responed "Of Coorse" they danced and enjoyed themselves, there was a slow dance that Dj was playing Betty and Johnny-Bee starting looking an each other eye and they see love so they kissed and became the best couple of the dance of middle school. In 1959, they finshed high school they bought a one-bed apartment in Lord Avenue, Betty went off to college and got her teaching degree, Johnny-Bee went to college for contracting he got his degree. In 1963, They graduate from college and moved into a three bed-room apartment. On May 5, 1965 they was Mr.& Mrs. Kendrick they has a beautfil wedding. In,1968,Johnny -Bee and Betty moved to Atlanta, GA because of Betty parents were dying. In1970, they moved back to Bainbridge, GA cause Johnnie-Bee parents were dying, they passed away on Johnnie-Bee and Betty fifth wedding anniversary. March 3, 1971 Johnny-Bee was offered to work at Thomas&Bett Company he made $7 an hour total pay for Friday was $109.32 every week, Betty started teaching on May 5, 1971 on her and Johnny-Bee anniversary.
In 1972, Johnny-Bee and Betty Kendrick had there first daughter Shannon Renae Kendrick in Albany, GA, In, 1974 they had Jimmy Lee Kendrick in Bainbridge, GA he was named after his grandfather, In 1975, they had Wanda Breedlove Kendrick in Tifion, GA, In 1976, they had Johnny-Bee Kendrick, Jr. In 1978, they had Keyereaon Eugene Kendrick but they lost him when he was born.
In 1983, Johnny-Bee was elected as Thomas& Bett President he was the ruler for all his employess, betty became the assistant principal at Hutto High School. In 1989, Johnny-Bee retired from Thomas & Bett Company and decided to start working on houses. Betty was moved to prinicpal at Hutto High School and became president of prinicpal. In 1990, Johnny-Bee and Betty Kendrick celebrate there 25th anniversary to Bahamas they let there friends Joe & Rebecca watch the house. Johhny-Bee and Betty came back anniversary from the Bahamas they kids, Joe, and Rebecca through them a anniversary party. 1995, the children went off to college Shannon went for VNA, Jimmy went for Law & Enforcement, Wanda went for teaching, and Jr., went to be a Doctor, Johnny-Bee and Betty moved to Orlando, Flordia to enjoy there home sweet home alone, Betty moved her teaching job to Orlando.
In 1999, all the children gradute from college and moved in there own house in Bainbridge, GA. they contact there parents everyday to make sure that alright. In 2000, Shannon had a daughter name Miyah Perkeins Johnny-B and Betty visited Bainbridge, GA. to see there first grandchild Shannon asked her parents can she move up there her and baby they said, "Of Course", so Shannon and Derrick packed there belongs and moved to Orlando with Johnny-Bee and Betty. As, the Kendrick Family was still acheving there goals Derrick asked Shannon to marry him in 2002 Shannon responed " Yes" they got married and moved to Tampa closed to Derrick parent Willie and Sarah Jones. Shannon and Derrick was divorced in 2005 because of Derrick was cheating of Shannon with a woman name Patricia Mae Love, Patricia is Shannon auntie.
In 2006, Betty decide for working after 35 years she decided to retire he and Johnny-Bee moved back to Bianbridge, GA to tell them the bad news. They had a nice dinner Johnny-Bee told them that he doesnt have long to live Johnny said "I have cancer, i been having for twenty years, im going to try all kind of medcine so I will not die TRUST ME." the kids was crying. In 2007, Betty called her and Johnny-Bee family member to the hostipal it was Johnny-Bee, Johnny-Bee had passed away the day after 42th anniversary. Betty moved in with Wanda until she stop greving, Betty didn't eat or sleep she wouldnt leave the room the day of the furneal Betty didnt want to leave the cemetery she stayed and stayed until dark. Johnny-Bee live to see his first grandbaby and she the age 62
In, 2008 Betty was setting on the couch and her heart was messing with her, she lend over to the side, her children came over to check on her but it was to late Betty had heart attak she had a bible in her hand reading Pslams 23, the furneal came the children and Miyah was crying so bad they almost passed out. Jr. and his brother Jimmy stood up and toke care of Shannon, Wanda, and there niece Miyah . Betty lived to see her grandaughter also the age 62.
Later, the children moved to Tampa unto the family house and they were packing there parent items and then see a how much there parents love them they kept all of there baby clothing and art work. The look deep unto to the office there was a will saying " Our beloved children dont worry about thing your mothere and I have live dour lived its time for you all to do the same We leave you a $50,000 check for all of you to split dont forget our grandaughter.
