That day was Anand's first accident. Joseph called him with affection and joy. Startled by the name, he stood silently, lost in thought. Joseph jokingly said, "Looks like he liked what he saw." Anand, who was just 13 years old at the time, was eager to learn driving. His father paid no attention to the enthusiasm surrounding vehicles. Joseph began teaching him to drive. Like he desired, Anand learned to ride a bike. He had to wait until he turned 18 to get his license. After getting the license, he contemplated about getting a bike. Once he found a job, he saved money and bought one. From the beginning, he was very fast with the bike. People started blaming his father for not paying attention to him. However, Joseph was the only one who emphasized that Anand should be careful. Thus, many years passed.

Anand's marriage was a love marriage. Despite the comments about his speed, his wife's trust in him never wavered. She always looked at him with love and admiration. When traveling alone, he only sped up. He would only take his wife as a passenger if anyone else joined them. One morning, as Anand left the office, a tanker lorry swerved into his lane and he missed it. Everyone accused him of overspeeding. His foot missed the brake and hit the accelerator. He realized his wife was pregnant. Time passed peacefully. On his last day at the office, he rode his bike on the main road. His eyes caught a sticker on the meter board. It had been tampered with, and a black sticker had been placed over it, with the words "we are waiting" written in white. Reading it, he felt his heart sink. Because of her actions, he could greatly reduce his speed.

A few days later,
while he was at the office, he received a call on his mobile phone. He answered the call. A woman's voice came from the other end, begging him to come to the hospital immediately. He rushed to the hospital with his mobile phone. There, a nurse took him to see three bodies before leading him to his wife. She had died with a smile on her face. He couldn't believe what he saw. Everything about her reminded him of his wife, who was pregnant at the time. He couldn't bear to see it anymore and left. Everything seemed magical to him. He took his bike and left for the road. He didn't know what to do next or how he would survive. He remembered telling himself that he belonged on this earth. He went around with everyone, sharing beautiful moments with them. With them, he felt his mind calm down. That's when his eyes met the meter board once again.

..........."we are waiting".............

Now, in a world where no one is there to call him his own, he travels towards those waiting for him next..
