One hot afternoon, they rested under a giant baobab tree, sipping water from the river.
Leo sighed. "Ella," he said, "I wish I could fly high above the trees like the eagles. I want to see the whole jungle at once!"
Ella chuckled, her big ears flapping. "Funny, Leo! I wish I could be as fast as you. You run like the wind! I'm always so slow."
They both dreamed for a while, watching the clouds drift across the sky. Then wise old Owl, who lived in the tree, hooted from above:
_"Why do you wish to be something else when you are already wonderful?"_
Leo and Ella looked at each other, puzzled.
Owl continued, "Leo, your roar can be heard across the jungle - it keeps everyone safe. Ella, your strength can move trees and make paths for others. You both have special gifts that no one else has!"
Leo's whiskers twitched. Ella's big eyes sparkled.
From that day on, Leo was proud of his mighty roar, and Ella walked happily, knowing her slow but steady steps could lead everyone safely through the jungle.
And whenever they dreamed of being something else, they remembered Owl's wise words:
"Your true magic is being yourself."
The End.
