Two rabbits in a forest where sunlight was blessing their world, were munching vegetables that they found.

One was calm and the other one was burning within with the doings of the past.

“Stop remaining in the past, being worried will not do you any benefit. Rather you are losing the control of what is happening now”, said the calm one.

“I cannot let go of it. I regret my actions; I should have done that better. If I had not been a mere rabbit but someone who could turn the wheels of time…”

“Well, the past is not going to change, isn’t it? You committed a mistake and you have learnt from it. You can only focus on what you can do better. You have got brains; you are no rock.”

“That is not enough, I could have done better instead of being a failure” cried the anxious one.

While this exchange of words happened, the calm rabbit took notice of a hunter, showing off a smirk and intentions as clear as daylight on his face.

The calm rabbit discreetly pointed the hunter to the anxious one and whispered, “Lets run away, we have a hunter who has made up his mind to cook us for his dinner”

The anxious one, still blinded by his past, rambled “I wish I could change my actions that time. I would have been a better person if I would choose to do that…”

The hunter dashed down to them stealthily and with no time left, the calm rabbit took the chance to escape while the anxious one was deeply caught in his overwhelming thoughts.

As it would have been, the anxious rabbit got caught and hunter enjoyed a feast that night.

The calm rabbit, feeling sad for his friend, said “He who lives in the past, forgets the present. When the one who runs the time only goes forward, how can anyone else go back?”
