Pranavi was a young woman known for her sharp intellect, resilience, and courage. She could solve the toughest problems with ease, and she stood firm in the face of adversity. However, deep within, she carried a silent battle - an emotional vulnerability that made her feel isolated and unwanted. Whenever she felt overwhelmed, she would run to her friends, hug them tightly, and fall asleep in their comfort. But when a real storm hit her life, she would sit alone, lost in her thoughts, crying without understanding why.
She felt as if no one truly understood her. Her friends laughed with her, but they never saw her pain. She believed in Krishna, the divine guide, but she questioned why she felt so broken when she trusted Him so much. The feeling of loneliness gnawed at her heart. She would sit by the river, watching the flowing waters, wondering if she had a purpose in this world.
One day, she encountered a situation that shattered her even more - a betrayal by someone she had trusted the most. The pain was unbearable, and she felt like giving up. She kept asking herself, Why do the closest ones hurt the most? In her despair, she turned to the Bhagavad Gita, searching for an answer. Her teary eyes landed upon a verse that resonated with her heart:
"??????????????????? ?? ????? ?????? ?? ?????????????????? ?? ???????????????????"
(Karmanye vadhikaraste ma phaleshu kadachana, ma karma phalahetur bhurmate sangostva karmani.)
"You have the right to perform your duty, but never to its fruits. Do not be motivated by the results of your actions, nor be attached to inaction."
The words of Krishna struck her deeply. She realized she was constantly seeking validation from those around her, expecting love, expecting support, expecting someone to truly see her pain. But Krishna's words reminded her that she was not meant to live for others' recognition. She had a purpose beyond seeking approval.
With renewed strength, she wiped her tears and closed her eyes, whispering, "Krishna, I surrender my fears to You. Guide me to my true path." That moment, she understood that her greatest battle was not with the world, but within herself. The loneliness, the pain, the feelings of rejection - they were just illusions. Krishna had always been with her, waiting for her to recognize her own strength.
From that day forward, Pranavi stopped looking for love in the wrong places. She still loved her friends, but she no longer sought their validation to feel worthy. Instead, she embraced her journey, focusing on her purpose, her destiny. And though she was still emotionally vulnerable at times, she no longer feared it. She had Krishna's words in her heart, guiding her towards her true path.
