Mira and Nila were sisters who shared a bedroom, a bunk bed, and even a secret cookie stash behind the bookshelf. Most days, they giggled and whispered long after lights out.

But today was different.

That afternoon, their mom had given them a brand-new sheet of sparkly stickers - rainbows, stars, and shiny unicorns!

Mira's eyes widened. "I'm going to put the unicorn sticker on my diary!" she said, reaching for the sheet.

"I wanted that one!" Nila cried, grabbing it too.

Rippp!

The sheet tore right down the middle.

Mira stared at the torn unicorn half in her hand. Nila clutched the other half, her lower lip trembling.

"You ruined it!" Mira shouted.

"No, you did!" Nila shouted back, her face turning pink.

Without a word, Nila spun around, her eyes shiny with tears, and sank into the corner of the room, curling into a tiny ball.

Mira sat on the bed, blinking back tears. Her chest felt tight, like when you lose something you can't fix.

Frozen like statues, they watched the pieces lie there, broken... just like their hearts.

She looked at the torn unicorn sticker again.

It wasn't sparkly anymore. It was just... broken.

And so was the fun they were supposed to have together.

After a long, heavy minute, Mira stood up and walked over to Nila.

"I'm sorry," Mira said softly, lifting her head just a little, a tiny spark of hope flickering in her teary eyes.

Nila wiped her eyes. "Me too. It was my favorite."

They both sat there, staring at the sticker pieces.

Finally, Mira had an idea. "What if we stick the two halves together on a big piece of paper? And we make a poster! We can add rainbows and stars around it!"

Nila sniffed. "A magic unicorn world?"

Mira smiled. "Yeah. Our own world."

Nila's face lit up.

Together, they found glue, glitter, and crayons. They made the biggest, sparkling, most magical poster ever. The unicorn, patched together, looked even better - with a glittery rainbow trail behind it.

At bedtime, Mira taped the poster right between their beds.

"Sharing is better than fighting," Mira whispered.

Nila grinned and squeezed her hand. "Way better."

And that night, the sisters drifted off to sleep under the sparkles of their magical world - together.
