In the days that followed, the air between them crackled with unspoken tension. Tee was different now - more present, more possessive. He would show up unexpectedly when Nio was with someone else, offering his food without asking, and pulling him aside for quiet conversations.
Every moment with Tee felt charged. The way Tee would glance at him from across the room, the subtle touches - brushing against his arm, tapping him on the shoulder - each one leaving Nio more and more aware of Tee's presence. But still, Nio wasn't sure what it all meant. Was it just playful teasing? Or was there something more beneath the surface?
One night, after a particularly awkward encounter with a group of friends, Tee and Nio found themselves walking alone back to the dorm. The silence between them was thick with things unsaid.
"Don't let anyone else walk you home," Tee said quietly, the request sounding more like an order than a suggestion. His eyes locked onto Nio's, and for the first time, Nio saw something raw - something unguarded - in Tee's gaze.
Nio nodded, his heart racing. He didn't quite understand why Tee had said it, but a part of him - the part that had been starved for attention, for affection - felt a flutter of hope. Maybe this was the beginning of something more. Maybe, just maybe, Tee didn't want him to be invisible anymore either.
