At the University at Kasheer, a place known for its breathtaking beauty, with snow-capped mountains, sprawling lawns, and towering Chinar trees, three stray dogs - Jachel, Taichel, and Choupal - were infamous. Born near a garbage container by the Convention Complex in the University, these siblings quickly proved themselves ruthless, cunning, and destructive. Their bullying of other dogs, constant scheming, and shameless food theft made them outcasts, even among their fellow strays.

As the time passed these three dogs became a menace to the university. Emboldened by their disdain for both humans and other strays, they launched physical attacks on students, faculty, and staff. Biting incidents became common, and the trio's reign of terror spread across the campus. Newspapers published stories about the "terror dogs," criticizing the administration for failing to curb the growing threat. Still, no one took meaningful action, and the trio's behavior worsened.

Despite their cruelty, the trio harbored a fascination with the human world around them. They watched, intrigued, as professors, students, and researchers went about their lives. The humans seemed to embody everything the dogs lacked - intellect, purpose, respect, and comfort. The university was a hub of knowledge and prestige, a world that Jachel, Taichel, and Choupal envied from afar. These humans walked confidently, dressed in fine clothes, engaged in deep discussions, and ate well. The dogs longed for that life of dignity and imagined what it would be like to live as humans.

Their envy soon transformed into a burning desire. Jachel, Taichel, and Choupal began to dream of becoming human themselves. In their minds, turning into humans would grant them the power, wealth, and respect they craved. However, they failed to understand that true humanity wasn't just about appearance - it required compassion, integrity, and collaboration. Qualities they severely lacked.

Desperate to fulfill their dream, Jachel, Taichel, and Choupal sought out a wise old dog who had spent his entire life observing humans. They hoped he would tell them how to achieve their transformation.

"We want to be like them," Jachel declared, his voice filled with ambition. "We want their power, their comfort, their respect. Tell us how we can change."

The old dog, weary from years of experience, gazed at them and said, "Becoming human is simple. Spend time among them, learn their ways, and you will begin to look like them. But be warned - if you do not change your nature, if you remain greedy, cruel, and selfish, no matter how human you appear, you will still be rejected. To truly succeed as humans, you must learn to be kind, ethical, and just."

But Jachel, Taichel, and Choupal ignored the old dog's wisdom. They believed that mere appearance would be enough to gain the power and respect they desired. Following the old dog's instructions, they began spending more time among the humans, observing their behavior, mimicking their actions, and blending into the academic environment. Slowly, their fur began to fade, their limbs straightened, and their canine features transformed into human ones.

Jachel became a clever-looking young man, Taichel a sharp-eyed man with a sly smile, and Choupal a lanky, cunning youth. Delighted by their new forms, they felt certain that their dreams of power were within reach.

Life as humans initially seemed perfect. With manipulative degrees and forged references, they made their way into the university system. Jachel secured a position in teaching, Taichel in research, and Choupal, always the most cunning of the three, infiltrated the administration. But rather than pursuing knowledge and academic integrity, the trio clung to their old, deceitful ways.

Jachel, consumed by an insatiable hunger for recognition, quickly descended into a pit of academic deceit. He shirked his teaching responsibilities by subletting his classes to underqualified staff, while orchestrating vicious rumors that destroyed the reputations of colleagues he saw as threats. His arrogance masked his incompetence, as he handed out grades based on favoritism rather than merit, rewarding sycophants and punishing students who dared to challenge him. The classroom became a battleground, with frustrated students often forced to abandon their education due to his malicious manipulations. Those who stood up to him faced psychological torment, unfair grading, and expulsion on trumped-up charges. Under his reign, education crumbled, and disillusioned students fled his course in droves.

Taichel, driven by ruthless ambition, turned the academic world into his personal playground of fraud. He falsified data, plagiarized studies, and manipulated results to make his research appear groundbreaking. Grants and accolades poured in as he built a fraudulent empire of lies. Behind closed doors, he sold research papers and entire theses to desperate students, turning academia into a profitable black market. His network of ghostwriters churned out academic papers for a fee, while his own work, riddled with fabrications, was published in dubious journals that asked no questions. What could have been a brilliant mind advancing science instead became a cold-hearted schemer exploiting the very thirst for knowledge he once held dear.

Choupal, the ultimate puppet master, used his administrative post to create an empire of corruption within the university. From the smallest project to major academic endeavors, nothing moved forward without a bribe. Recruitment was a business, with spots in prestigious programs sold to the highest bidders - often the wealthy and well-connected. Nepotism became rampant as bribes flowed for academic and non-academic projects alike. He manipulated official records, padding credentials, inflating enrollment numbers with phantom students, and diverting funds into his own pockets. His bureaucratic genius lay in cloaking these schemes as legitimate operations, making him nearly untouchable. Those who dared oppose him faced falsified charges and public ruin, silenced before they could expose his empire of greed.

Together, the trio turned the once-revered University at Kasheer into a playground for their schemes. The university became a battleground of deceit, corruption, and ambition, where integrity was sacrificed for personal gain, leaving a trail of ruined careers and shattered dreams.

As their influence grew, so did suspicions about their methods. Investigations into academic misconduct, fraud, and corruption slowly began to unravel the web of deceit they had woven. What the trio didn't realize was that their dog-like instincts - greed, cruelty, and selfishness - had never left them. Their human appearance could not mask the corrupt hearts beneath.

One evening, as they sat beneath a towering Chinar tree, the weight of their actions began to press on them. They had achieved the power they sought, but at a great cost. The university was in ruins, and the respect they craved had turned into suspicion and distrust.

"We look like them," Taichel said quietly, his voice heavy with regret, "but we were never truly one of them."

"We thought we could take everything without changing who we are," Jachel added, staring at the golden leaves falling around them.

Choupal, usually the most confident, sat in silence. He knew they had gone too far, ruined too many lives, and destroyed the very institution they once admired. Their cunning had not brought them power - it had led them to isolation and downfall.

As the truth settled over them, their human forms began to fade. Their fur returned, their limbs bent back into canine shapes, and they reverted to their original forms - dogs. But this time, neither humans nor stray dogs would accept them. The trio had betrayed both worlds and now found themselves completely alone.

Rejected by all, Jachel, Taichel, and Choupal wandered on the roads of the university. Their once-feared presence was now met with disdain and indifference. Finding food became a struggle, as even scraps were beyond their reach. With each passing day, their bodies weakened, and they grew frail. Illness soon followed, as their immune systems, already weakened by hunger, gave way to disease. They became victims of their own actions, slowly wasting away as malnutrition and sickness took hold.

Once-powerful schemers, they were now shadows of their former selves - broken, emaciated, and utterly defeated. Their ambition had brought them nothing but ruin, and in their final days, they were left to suffer in obscurity.

They died alone, forgotten, and unloved. Their grand dreams of power and prestige had crumbled into dust, leaving behind only a legacy of corruption and destruction. The tale of Jachel, Taichel, and Choupal became a cautionary story at the University at Kasheer, a reminder that true transformation requires more than just a change in appearance - it demands a change of heart, integrity, and compassion. The cunning dogs had proven that without these virtues, even the most ambitious plans are doomed to fail.

Just amazing. You have narrated the story so beautifully. Maybe I am not able to write a good feedback as the story is still echoing in my mind and real characters of the story are appearing before my eyes again and again. I wish I could write their names. I always call kashmir University,"A State Within State". You can't dare to lock horns with them. They will come together like a pack of dogs and will damage you to the best of their canine abilities. I truly congratulate you for writing such a beautiful story which is actually ugly. Want to write a lot, but as Faraz has said, baat nikle gi to door talak jaye gi. Regards
