Chapter 12: Monster

Victor didn't just kill Eleanor. He destroyed her. We watched in horror as her body crumpled to the floor, her lifeless eyes staring at the ceiling. The little girl clung to her mother's body, sobbing uncontrollably. He stood up, walking slowly to the little girl as she ran away, he grabbed the knife on the table and threw it towards his daughter. She fall and died immediately. Victor screams and grumble loudly.

"You'll pay for this," Victor snarled, his voice cracking. "You'll all pay!"

And then he changed.

His skin darkened, his body twisting and contorting into the monster we'd seen in the basement. His screams were inhuman, echoing through the house as his humanity burned away.

"What's happening?" Rena gasped.

"It's the curse," I said, my voice trembling. "This is how he became? that."
