LIFE IS A DREAM...

A figment of imagination

A total twist of reality

A nonexistence of the truth

OR...

A DREAM IS LIFE.

That has not yet found existence

In the reality of truth;

That has yet to be perceived

By a living soul

As being a real place

In time and matter

Somewhere in the universe.

TO LIVE IS TO DREAM

AND TO DREAM IS TO LIVE...

The very existence

Of my soul and well-being

Was in the peace and solace

I found living

In my dreams

In my dream home

With my dream family

As I peacefully slept.

IS IT TO BE

OR

NOT TO BE?

The truth of reality

In waking life

Burdens my soul

With a living nightmare

Twisting and turning

Each direction I go...

Feeling empty,

Desolate, and broken,

With no way out;

My heart and soul cries out

Just yearning

For the love and peace

I once felt.

WHAT IS LIFE

WITHOUT A DREAM?

It is misery

In the physical form

Taking in pain and illness;

Leaving nothing but heartache

And an empty soul

To anguish forever

In the living nightmare

That is never seeming to end;

If only I could make

The good dreams I once had

Into reality,

I could once again

Truly live...

TO DREAM A LIFE.
