He awakened something in her, something she thought was gone forever, something deep, sensual, almost feral. When he looked at her from across the dancefloor, she could barely breathe. His eyes bored into hers, connecting their thoughts and desires. Who was this man who ignited this ache deep inside her? She was so drawn to him, it was magnetic. She needed to touch him, kiss him, feel his body on hers, inside her. They slowly walked toward each other, never breaking eye contact. When they were close enough, he reached out and gently wrapped his arm around her waist, pulling her closer. She wrapped her arms around him, and they started to sway to the music. They moved together effortlessly, bodies intertwined, feeling each other breathe. The connection was overwhelming. The way he moved was erotic yet gentle. She knew he would either be her greatest love or her greatest heartbreak - perhaps both. Either way, this was the beginning of something otherworldly. Twin flames who had found their way to one another. Tethered together - mind, body and soul.

It was a passion neither had ever felt before. So pure and true, so animalistic and all-consuming. They wanted each other in every way and all the time. To touch and taste every inch of each other's bodies over and over again. When he kissed her for the first time, she cried because she had never felt such a bond to another soul. When they made love, it was earth-shattering. There was no shyness or trepidation. They were so free with each other, more than they had ever been with anyone else. No games, no judgment, no greater love.

The intensity of the connection was overwhelming at times. While they mirrored each other in passion and love, they were too similar in frustration and anger. When they fought, it was devastating. Like a volcano that had waited too long before erupting. Could this bond be too strong? Too consuming? They loved each other more than anything, but hurt each other more too. How can the same person who rips your heart to pieces be the only one who can put it back together?

He destroyed something in her, something she didn't even know she had, something that would be missing forever without him. He left a hole in her heart that could never be filled. She left the same hole in his. When they were together, they were whole again, which made walking away harder every time. They would walk this earth forever drawn to one another in a way that was impossible to resist and forever knowing that it would always end the same. The hurt was worth it every single time.
