Not listening to her mother Amelie decided today for her yellow shoes , she might have thought for a second or two , to actually wear her red shoes , but then she realized that would only take everyones eyes from her dress away that sourrounded all the white on in with red dots, they were simply to shiney. After she finished looking for a matching hat for her shoes she went downstairs in the kitchen. It got awkward for a second since she had no idea why her mother was starring at her like she was a stranger. Not daring to ask, her gaze went down at the table where she encountered a plate that had a meal on it. Of course it was breakfast time.

Mother you know...i am not really hungry do you mind if skip breakfast?

Its already cold amelie, just sit down.

Okay mom.

Why are you smiling ?

Suddenly amelie bursted out in laughter.

As she observed her breakfast so noticed something, Eggs with ketchup. Yes the exact same color palette that was being used by her for her outfit today.

After she finished with her meal she went out the door and was immediately greeted by the Sun. As she walked her usual path she noticed that something was different like a part of nature was simply removed , but she couldn´t come up with any idea of what it could be.

It was the beginning of summer, the usual suspects like the sun were there, the flowing water that travels down the river was loud and clear, so who exactly was missing ?

It was like someone decided to listen to his favourite record, but noticed that a very special instrument was simply not playing, but which instrument was is exactly.

THE BIRDS...of course, altough somewhat selfishly Amelie assumed that, since sheattented her usual walking cycle, the birds should be there to , singing for her. But she didnt know better after all she was just a kid. Nontheless a kid that knew that something was wrong here, and she wanted to find out whats going on.

Did the singingbirds maybe have a bad day? maybe, but all of them at the same time ?

If i had a career as a Singingbird, i would attend of course, since no one is around to sing today, i would get all the attention.

She Thought.

,,Hey Amelie whats wrong ? you look a little dizzled today hon, are you ok ?´´

Being caught up with her investigation she barely heard the women talking to her as she was passing by the neighbours house.

She Turned around and simply screamed without a second thought ,, Whats with the Birds Mr Schulz ´´?

Now somewhat confused she answered

,,This is not Mr. Schulz honey, its misses, i know you are somewhat far away, but still, i hope we dont look to much alike. What birds are you talking about ? are you seeing birds? are you ok ?´´

Misses Schulz got even more confused when Amelie decided to turn around and just move on without answering her.
