Chapter 1. Found you!
Yamada runs out of her house with her uniform half-dressed.
A drunk man holding a bottle of beer yells at her “If it wasn’t for you, she would’ve been alive right now, with me!”
Yamada looks at him full of hatred, gives him a middle finger as if she’s not facing him again.
while she was buttoning her shirt, a long brunet/blonde-haired girl runs towards her. It was Maria, Yamada’s best friend.
(Ever since Yamada moved away from her hometown, she was different, she didn’t talk like the girl she was before, even the way she walks is different. Yamada’s mother died due to a tsunami in her hometown.
Yamada and her mom were having a day at the beach when the tsunami suddenly broke down on them.)
(She pushed Yamada away from the shore as she got hit by the wave.
Yamada ran towards to save her however, people at the shore grabbed her. She watched as her mother drowned.)
(She didn’t know what to say, so her father believed that it was because of Yamada that his wife, her mother died.)
“Again?” asked Maria with an annoyed tone
“what?” Yamada replies.
“Did that bastard yell at you again?”
Yamada stays quiet.
“you should call child services and live with me for a while! Doesn’t that sound great? Imagine all the fun we could have” says Maria while her eyes sparkled.
“she must really like being my friend, but I’m such a burden…” Yamada thought to herself as she looks down at her shoes while walking.
Maria notices that she’s sad but keeps quiet about it, anything she says to cheer her up, Yamada just doesn’t seem to care.
While they were walking on a bridge, Yamada stops and looks at the sky. Her eyes lit up with terror.
For the first time after her mother died, she felt fear. The sky was red, buildings bashing down to the ground, the ground was shattering like glass, everyone was screaming for help.
Too much noise, too much screaming, too much blood, Yamada was scared. The vision quickly went away and everything was back to normal.
She saw Maria walking upfront leaving Yamada confused.
“What happened just now…?”
“did something happen? Did anyone see it?” she questioned herself.
“no, everything is fine, it was just me being crazy”
She blamed herself and walked towards Maria.
“Hey! Run! Why are you so slow Yamada?”
Yamada started running as they were late for class.
“I’m coming!!!” she says while huffing cause she’s not that athletic.
“arghh!” she fell to the ground.
“What did I hit?” she thought.
It was a tall, lonesome looking guy who was happened to be wearing the Shinsekai High school uniform.
She bumped into him. The guy quickly helped her get up.
Maria rushes towards her and started threatening the guy.
“ did you push her? Why is she on the ground?”
Yamada tries to tell her that it was her that bumped into him but she didn’t listen, because Yamada would always defend her bullies.
However, the tall guy didn’t pay attention at all, he just looked at the sky with dead eyes.
Yamada notices it “could he be seeing what I saw back there? No way! It must be me”
her confusion broke when Maria asked “Aren’t you going to apologize? What are you even looking at anyway?
The boy sighs “the ending of a sad movie, that’s all.” With a calm voice as he walks past them”
“What a weird guy, he didn’t say sorry too,” says Maria
“No, it was me, I was running to you without looking and I accidentally ran into him.”
“I don’t believe you when you say things like that but that guy was from our school and I never even seen him before so he wouldn’t have just bullied you.” Says maria
*sighs* “fine I believe you but don’t think I’m going to help you when you’re in trouble again.”
The tall guy made Yamada get butterflies, he was really interesting.
She tried to look for him but he was out of sight.
“CRAP!!!” gasps Maria.
“WE’RE LATE FOR CLASS” as she looked at her phone.
Maria grabbed Yamada’s hand ran to Shinsekai High school.
As they got into their class, the teacher didn’t say anything just looked at them and immediately sat them down to their sits.
Yamada sat next to a lively, nice, and popular Markie.
He was so sweet, everybody liked him, girls would confess to him almost every day. Yamada didn’t like him that much as he was the polar opposite of her.
They have been classmates since 8th grade but they don’t seem to ever talk.
The whole class was silent, it usually gets silent when the teacher has something to announce.
“Good morning everyone, the end of semester tests is coming soon, be prepared, the first test will be on the 15th Mathematics, the second one will be on the 18th. English.”
“aarhhhh, really? Why? They’re killing us!” the whole class whines.
Yamada was sick of everyone yelling, she doesn’t like loud noises.
Markie notices and stands up “Okay everyone! I know it’s hard but we got to do the exam, we have smart ass people here, you can copy them hahaha,” says Markie.
Surprisingly him standing up and speaking made everyone shut up.
It made Yamada calm so she laid on her desk.
“Ahem!” says the teacher “I also have one more thing to announce, come on in”
Just as she said that the student counselor brought in the guy Yamada and Maria ran into before.
Yamada got up from her desk (not like actually standing up) she looked surprised.
“We have a new transfer student, please introduce yourself,” says the teacher.
“my name is Rei Tobio, I was homeschooled so I might hold you guys back a little bit so please lend me your help, nice to meet you,” says Rei as he bows.
“he’s so cute, so tall, well mannered” whispers all the girls in the classroom.
“you can sit at the back; we’ll rearrange the sits after exams”
Rei looks at the desk Yamada was sitting.
Yamada blushed as she thought he was looking at her.
Rei walks towards the desk, Yamada blushed even more.
“Hey…” says Rei
“h- “Yamada was trying to say until “HEYYY REI!!!” says Markie.
Yamada was surprised and embarrassed, she thought he was talking to her.
Rei looks at her “oh, it's you” says rei
“hmm? Do you know her?” asks Markie
“yeah, she bumped into me earlier and her crazy friend attacked me” complains rei.
“oh, you mean Maria? Yeah, she’s pretty crazy ha-ha”
Rei didn’t laugh, he didn’t find it amusing, he just stared at him with a blank face.
“eh, go sit rei, act cool~,” says Markie trying to be funny.
Rei sits behind Maria. Maria suddenly looked at him with a furious, angry face almost threatening him.
Rei looked confused “huh? What did I do?”
he thought to himself, “whatever, the worlds gonna end anyways”
he looks through the window to the blue sky, to the fluffy white clouds. “too bad.” he sighs.
Maria notices and looks down, wondering what’s on his mind

“what’s he so depressed about? He said a weird thing earlier too…” Maria thought to herself.
/back to Yamada and Markie’s desk/
“so, you ran into him huh” says Markie
“Yeah, so what? It was an accident, why to make a big deal out of it?” says Yamada with an annoyed tone.
“Woah chill, I didn’t mean to upset you it's just really funny,” says Markie while giggling.
“whatever,” Yamada says as lays down on her desk, she dropped an eraser but didn’t notice it.
Markie notices and tried to pick it up when he saw bruises on Yamada’s thigh. It was pretty out in the open. He leaves the eraser on the ground.
/the class ends and the scene goes on the rooftop of the school/
Yamada and Maria were there discussing Rei.
“Rei Tobio huh, I knew I didn’t see him before,” says maria while biting the top of a straw from a strawberry box juice
Yamada stays silent as she drinks from her yogurt
“But you know, as weird he is, he is so sad,” says Maria

“he’s friends with Markie too, a guy that lively, I thought Rei was going to be the same but they’re the opposites, not to mention he called me crazy too” Maria Frowns as she grabs the boxed juice tight.

“of course, I got a great hearing, I mean it's fine when people talk about me but not when it’s a bad talk!” complains Maria.
“the ending of a sad movie…” says Yamada
“huh, oh yeah, that guy rei said it,” says Maria
“he’s so depressed I hate it; I mean it's fine but I just don’t like people like that, the world is so amazing why can’t they see it?”
“because your lively Maria, you like traveling and you're always laughing, some people just have it different,” says Yamada
“Yeah, your right, sorry.” Says Maria
“Should I tell Maria about what I saw earlier, the world ending, Rei said something similar too, he also looked at the sky, could it be that we saw the same thing?” Yamada thought to herself.
“no, it's too soon to make assumptions,” Yamada thought…
/just as they were talking, Rei and Markie walks in, Yamada and Maria’s surprised/
“speak of the devil!” Maria thought to herself.
/luckily, Yamada and Maria were behind the entrance door to the roof, Rei and Markie walked up front to the fences/
“So, what do you wanna eat when we get back home?” asks Markie.
‘they live together? Could it be that they’re- “Maria thoughts to herself while blushing, imagining weird stuff about those two.
“how about chicken curry? Oh~ I’m already hungry now” says Markie while drawling and daydreaming about chicken curry.
“Markie…” says rei with a dense face.
“hmm? What is it?” asks Markie sweating with a smiling face.
“think about what to eat later, somethings up.” Says rei
“oh, is it one of your “glimpses of the future?”” asks Markie
“yeah, but it’s not like the other ones, it is much bigger,” says rei with a dense face.
/scene goes to Yamada and maria behind the entrance to the rood, listening to them. Yamada is sweating and shocked/
“is it me finally getting a girlfriend haha” says Markie while chuckling
“or is it the aliens and the world is ending hahaha”
“yes, but without the alien part like grow up Markie, aliens aren’t real,” says Markie.
“well, I’d rather see aliens than dying!” says Markie really nervous.
“dude this is more serious now, how is the world going to end?” asks Markie.
“The sky will break and fall upon us, the skyscrapers will fall too, the ground will be split into two causing the earth's core to be open, people will fall in it and burn to death, some will get crushed, ran over, and suicide,” says Rei while thinking about what he saw.
/scene goes back to Yamada and Maria confused and scared/
/then goes back to Rei and Markie/
“Rei, that’s terrible.” Says Markie.
“that’s what I saw, just be glad that you know that your gonna die.” Says Rei.
“but do you know when?” asks Markie
/rei hates to admit It, he clutched his fists/
“no.” says rei.
“oh god, we’re gonna die without knowing when!” says Markie while face-palming himself.
“get your shit together Markie,” says Rei
/after hearing such unbelievable news, Maria steps out revealing herself, leaving Markie and Rei shocked/

“Yamada!” says Markie
“ugh, this is bad, the worst timing too!” Rei thought to himself
/rei grabs Markie by his shirt and pulls him away from Yamada/
“let’s go, I’m hungry, I don’t have the energy for this...”
/while they were walking away Yamada hesitates to tell them/
“hey wait!” says Yamada
/maria and the other two are shocked/
“I-I know what you two talked back there…”
/all three of looks at Yamada shocked/
“I also saw it too, when I was walking to school, that’s why Maria was ahead of me.”
/rei let goes of Markie and walks to Yamada/
“are you sure you’re not lying,” rei asks Yamada by looking down at her with dense eyes?
“yes of course, if I were lying why would I be here explaining to you” says Yamada
*sigh* tell us what you saw then.
“it’s the same as you described, when the sky was shattering like glass, it was almost like it was glass. It was horrifying but I’m fine with the world ending.” Says Yamada
“Yamada…” says Maria.
“well, you know the world's going to end, might as well wait for it,” says Rei.
/everything is silent but the wind/
“since all 4 of us know about it, what should we do then?” Yamada asks
“Just wait, that’s all…” says Maria
“wait? That’s not like you at all Maria” says Yamada
“what’s the point of doing anything if we’re gonna die anyway,” says maria sadden.
/Yamada looks shocked, she never said anything like that before. /
/Markie looks at how embarrassed and sad Yamada is, so the kind guy he is, he decided to speak up/
‘’hey guys, brighten up will you” says Markie smiling
“even if the world is ending, we gotta do something right?”
“like what? Save the world, warn people? They’re never gonna believe us anyway so there's no point- “says Maria
“no! the adults won’t ever listen to us anyway,” says Markie
“We should do something fun before we die, something we’ve never done before, so we don’t regret anything later.” Says Markie with determination.
“well, I have always wanted to skydive,” says Maria
/rei stays quiet/
“really? I would like to go to Paris! And see the Eiffel tower” with a spark in his eyes.
“what about you Yamada” Markie asks
“I want to have a pet cat.” Says Yamada
“Hahaha, that’s all??” Maria bursts out laughing.
“you know I can get a stray and give it to you,” says maria
“No! it will come to me!” says Yamada
“since everybody has something to do, we all should make a list, “says, Markie.
“talk about nonsense,” says rei
“we’re gonna die anyway so just do it rei,” says Markie
“the world is ending so just please let it end, everything is useless, everyone is worthless, we all should just disappear!” says rei
/as he said that the world changes into a terrifying world with grey clouds and red sky/
/rei was shocked when he opened his eyes, he was nervous. He looked around and saw Yamada also confused and scared/
/Although they didn’t speak, they both looked at the ground to see tons of people bathed in blood/
“hey…” says rei
“did the world just end?” rei asks Yamada
/Yamada says nothing, she is about to puke from seeing so much blood/
“Why am I alive, I should be dead.” Says rei
chapter 4. Not yet
/scene goes back to Maria and Markie/
/Yamada and Rei can see the future so they’re paralyzed, they’re looking at the sky with crazy eyes/
“Hey what’s wrong with them?” Maria asks Markie
“they’re probably looking at the future…” says Markie
“huh, how do you know?” Maria asks
“because Rei does that,” says Markie
“I live with him, the first time I saw it was scary… he got pale and couldn’t stop breathing heavily”
“What did he saw, if you know that is.” Says Maria
“he saw his Dog get beaten up to death,” says Markie
“that’s fucking horrible,” says Maria
“and it happened the next day, he found his dog dead in the streets,” says, Markie.
“he was never the same, he hated the fact that he knew it was coming but couldn’t do anything,” says Markie
“so, if he’s being really mean, I’m sorry but please try to understand him,” says Markie while trying to be nice and smile.
“he is an asshole…, alright I understand,” says Maria

/Yamada runs to the fences and pukes down/
“Yamada! Are you okay? What happened?” Maria asks.
/Rei and Markie stare at them”

“but this time, only me and Yamada survived.
“is it because you two are different? God has favorites?” says Markie

/scene goes to Yamada and Maria/
“Are you sick? What happened tell me!” maria asks
“I saw blood,” says Yamada
“oh right, you don’t like seeing blood,” says Maria
“get up, let’s go,” says Maria
“I think we should head home,” says rei
“Yeah, we’ll talk about this tomorrow when we all feel better.”
“I’m sorry we got you into this mess,” says Markie
“it is not your fault, it was our fault for eavesdropping anyway,” says Maria trying to be calm and smile
“well see you guys tomorrow,” says Markie and walks to the entrance with Rei.
“We shouldn’t have gotten up to the roof…just our luck hahaha,” says Maria
“well, we are unlucky.” Says Yamada
“and it’s getting late too, I don’t want to go home.” Says Yamada
“me neither! But we have to, I don’t wanna be homeless” says Maria
“hey, about the thing Markie said before.” Says Yamada
“hmm? You mean things to do before we die?” says Maria
“Yeah, what if we all ran away and do it” says Yamada
“Yeah, good point, staying here won’t do nothing,” says Maria
“let’s talk to them about it tomorrow, I doubt they’ll agree but if they don’t, I promise to go with you!” says Maria while smiling at Yamada

/scene goes to Rei in his room, sitting on his bed with his grey T-shirt and black sweat pants/
/he's thinking about what he saw on the roof with Yamada, the blood bath/
“That was disgusting,” says rei
“what was disgusting? Me?” Markie asks with messy hair; he’s wearing an orange hoodie with dark blue sports shorts. He’s making an ugly face to make Rei laugh.
“wasn’t talking about you but yeah, you look disgusting,” says rei
/Markie makes a face like his whole soul went away/
“*sigh * well, what do you think I’d look like? I just found out that I’m going to die” says Markie
“you know, I wasn’t lying when I said I wanted to go the Paris…” says Markie.

/Yamada is lying on her desk when Markie’s staring at her/

“I guess I really look that bad since Rei and you said the same thing about me”
“well, what did you expect from a person that knows they’re going to die.” Says Yamada
“oh! I said the same thing yesterday, are we soulmates?” says Markie
“calm down, it was just a coincidence,” says Yamada
/Markie notices how comfortable Yamada got with him now, she’s talking to him a lot more. He smiles. /
“what are you so happy about?” asks Yamada

“also, rei agrees to do fun stuff before the end”

“he got ill; he ate my curry but turns out he’s allergic to some of the spices in the food.” Says Markie

/Yamada was walking home alone; she usually goes with Maria but she wasn’t here/

“she said you two already talked about running away, and we’re really doing it, we’re running away.” Says Markie

“Maria and Rei are at their home packing their stuff so then we can meet at the train station at 7pm,” Says Markie
“then are you coming with me?” Yamada asks.
“Yeah, first you get your stuff then we go to my place get Rei and go to the train station to meet Maria,” says Markie
“Alright, but it’s not going to be pretty… you should be outside when we get there,” says Yamada

/she goes to her room, gets a luggage and puts clothes in/
“mom, I need my moms’ picture,” she thought to herself as she then looked for it from her room but it wasn’t there, she then went to her father’s room and went through the drawers/
/there it was, a picture of Yamada’s mom with Yamada when she was little/
“mom…” she says while hugging the picture close to her heart.
/from the drawer she got the picture from, there was a big folder that had Yamada's name and birthday/
/Yamada quickly gets it and put it in her backpack, she gets the luggage and goes to the door/
“where are you going Yamada?” says her Father getting up from the couch.
“I’m not staying in this shit hole anymore,” says Yamada
/she quickly gets out of the house with bare feet, holding her shoes/
/ she gives the big heavy luggage to Markie and they both run to his house/
“you bitch, fine run away and live in the streets,” says Yamada’s father yelling with his drawling ugly face.
“wow, your brave!” says Markie surprised that she pulled this through

chapter 6 Away.
/Yamada and Markie arrive at Rei’s house/
“Alright this is it; this is where we live,” says Markie
/they get in the house/
“is your parents’ home?” Yamada asks
“oh no, this is rei’s parents' house, I only live here since I have no other place to stay,” says Markie while taking his shoes off.
“so, there is no one here beside us?” Yamada asks
“yeah, Mrs. and Mr. Tobio went away for a business trip for a week, but that was 2 months ago.” Says Markie
“aren’t you guys worried?” Yamada asks
“not really, they go out a lot but come to think of it, it was never this long, they also filled up the fridge and gave us a hand load of money too,” says Markie
“I heard they were doctors before but now they travel abroad a lot”
“oh, you two arrived,” says Rei
“hey rei, did you pack your thing?” Markie asks
“yeah, you should hurry,” says rei
“Alright, make her some tea,” Markie says while going upstairs into his room.
“you tired,” says rei while making tea in the kitchen
“not really, I am hungry,” says Yamada
“hold your hunger for a bit, we first need to get out of here,” says Rei
“yeah…” says Yamada while sitting on the couch

“no, he isn’t, I’m an only child.” Says Rei
“we’re old childhood friends, and now we live together that’s all,” says rei.
/Yamada thinks about the folder of papers she saw earlier/
“do you ever question, why you could see the future?” Yamada asks.
“no, it doesn’t happen that much so I rarely think about it,” Says rei while giving Yamada her tea

“no, this is the first two times I saw it,” says Yamada
“that’s weird. If you’re like me then why to see It now… to be honest, I envy you.” While looking down at his tea
“huh, why?” Yamada asks
“you didn’t see all the things I’ve seen, and now you’re seeing the most important thing and you’re doing something about it.” Says rei
“aren’t you the one who agreed to run away?” Yamada asks
“Yeah, I figured that if we ran away, no one will care, it’s like we don’t exist if we don’t do anything crazy. Just a blob of bots running around in a game” says rei
“game?” Yamada asks
“like the main characters, side characters, and extras. I’m fine dying as a side character or an extra but Markie, I don’t want him to die as someone useless, he’s a big person with big dreams, he deserves to be noticed” says Markie, he then drinks his tea.
/Yamada looks at her tea and sips it/
“it’s too sweet,” says Yamada
“Alright guys, I'm done,” says Markie holding a big bag and wearing a backpack
“Okay, let’s go”
/three of them walks to the train station, it was 6:20/
“we’re gonna be late, the trains gonna move in 40 minutes,” says Markie
“then get a taxi”
“you sure?” Markie asks
“do you prefer running with all these?” says Rei

/Yamada sits in the middle/
“Where to?” a rusty looking old man says
“to the train station please,” says Yamada

“going to help the old man huh” says the taxi driver
“Yeah, he’s ill,” says Markie
“well, there aren’t kids like you these days, glad you decided to help him”
/a few minutes passed by/
“the girls asleep, her necks going to break”
/Yamada Has taken a nap. Her head was tilting sideways. Markie looks at her thinking if he should put her head on his shoulder but surprisingly, Rei puts her head on his shoulder and looks out the window blushing a little bit. /
“did he just, I knew he had a kind heart inside,” Markie thought to himself
/the taxi driver looks through the mirror and sees the three/
“love triangle eh? Ah, teenage years.” He thought to himself
/ they arrive at the train station/
“Alright we’re here,” says the taxi driver
“hey, wake up,” says Rei shaking Yamada
“what the hell Rei” says Yamada while her hair is messed up
“ha-ha we’re here,” says Markie
/the three of them gets off/
“here sir” Markie offers money for the drive
“Nah, keep it, I know you kids are lying about where you’re going but I don’t care, you’re not my kids,” says the taxi driver
“just be save and take care of the girl”
/Yamada still sleepy not hearing any of this/
“thank you, sir,” says Markie smiling
/the taxi turns around and starts going/
“runaway kids, that’s so cool” he chuckles
chapter 7. Drift
“wake up!” Maria screams at Yamada’s ear
/Yamada wakes up shocked/
“I already got the tickets, its time we should get going,” says Maria
“oh, we’re already here,” says Yamada
“yeah, you were sleeping the entire time,” says Markie while laughing
“that’s because of all the running earlier,” says Yamada yawning
“Alright let’s go,” says Rei
/the 4 gets on the train/
“Woah, we’re really doing it!” says Maria
“getting in trouble and getting smacked a few times was worth it!” says Maria.
“quiet down before we get into trouble,” says rei ruining all the fun
“why you had to ruin the mood” Markie says
“because I don’t want us to get kicked off the train, that’s why,” says Rei
/3 of them looks shocked and stares at Rei/
“did he just” says Maria
“he said “us”” says Markie
“awnn I knew you had it in ya!” says Markie while trying to go in for a hug.
“stop it, I don’t like YOUR hugs,” says Rei while trying to push away Markie.
/Yamada and maria looks at each other and smiles/
“you remember when I asked you to live with me for a while?” says Maria

“it’s finally happening now haha,” maria says while looking out the window.
“I’m glad we’re doing this,” says Yamada
/Yamada laughs cheerfully/
/Markie looks at Yamada then he looked at Rei, he was also looking at Yamada. /

“Yamada, do you know why you could see the future?” Markie asks
“no, the first time I saw it was a few days ago, the second one was on the roof,” says Yamada
“Rei has been seeing it since he was young, but we never quite knew why,” Markie says
“We have no information, we thought it was odd so we didn’t tell anyone,” says Rei
“it’s like god warning us, giving us a head start haha,” says Maria

/Yamada goes into her bag and gets the folder/

Yamada runs out of her house with her uniform half-dressed.
A drunk man holding a bottle of beer yells at her “If it wasn’t for you, she would’ve been alive right now, with me!”
Yamada looks at him full of hatred, gives him a middle finger as if she’s not facing him again.
while she was buttoning her shirt, a long brunet/blonde-haired girl runs towards her. It was Maria, Yamada’s best friend.
(Ever since Yamada moved away from her hometown, she was different, she didn’t talk like the girl she was before, even the way she walks is different. Yamada’s mother died due to a tsunami in her hometown.
Yamada and her mom were having a day at the beach when the tsunami suddenly broke down on them.)
(She pushed Yamada away from the shore as she got hit by the wave.
Yamada ran towards to save her however, people at the shore grabbed her. She watched as her mother drowned.)
(She didn’t know what to say, so her father believed that it was because of Yamada that his wife, her mother died.)
“Again?” asked Maria with an annoyed tone
“what?” Yamada replies.
“Did that bastard yell at you again?”
Yamada stays quiet.
“you should call child services and live with me for a while! Doesn’t that sound great? Imagine all the fun we could have” says Maria while her eyes sparkled.
“she must really like being my friend, but I’m such a burden…” Yamada thought to herself as she looks down at her shoes while walking.
Maria notices that she’s sad but keeps quiet about it, anything she says to cheer her up, Yamada just doesn’t seem to care.
While they were walking on a bridge, Yamada stops and looks at the sky. Her eyes lit up with terror.
For the first time after her mother died, she felt fear. The sky was red, buildings bashing down to the ground, the ground was shattering like glass, everyone was screaming for help.
Too much noise, too much screaming, too much blood, Yamada was scared. The vision quickly went away and everything was back to normal.
She saw Maria walking upfront leaving Yamada confused.
“What happened just now…?”
“did something happen? Did anyone see it?” she questioned herself.
“no, everything is fine, it was just me being crazy”
She blamed herself and walked towards Maria.
“Hey! Run! Why are you so slow Yamada?”
Yamada started running as they were late for class.
“I’m coming!!!” she says while huffing cause she’s not that athletic.
“arghh!” she fell to the ground.
“What did I hit?” she thought.
It was a tall, lonesome looking guy who was happened to be wearing the Shinsekai High school uniform.
She bumped into him. The guy quickly helped her get up.
Maria rushes towards her and started threatening the guy.
“ did you push her? Why is she on the ground?”
Yamada tries to tell her that it was her that bumped into him but she didn’t listen, because Yamada would always defend her bullies.
However, the tall guy didn’t pay attention at all, he just looked at the sky with dead eyes.
Yamada notices it “could he be seeing what I saw back there? No way! It must be me”
her confusion broke when Maria asked “Aren’t you going to apologize? What are you even looking at anyway?
The boy sighs “the ending of a sad movie, that’s all.” With a calm voice as he walks past them”
“What a weird guy, he didn’t say sorry too,” says Maria
“No, it was me, I was running to you without looking and I accidentally ran into him.”
“I don’t believe you when you say things like that but that guy was from our school and I never even seen him before so he wouldn’t have just bullied you.” Says maria
*sighs* “fine I believe you but don’t think I’m going to help you when you’re in trouble again.”
The tall guy made Yamada get butterflies, he was really interesting.
She tried to look for him but he was out of sight.
“CRAP!!!” gasps Maria.
“WE’RE LATE FOR CLASS” as she looked at her phone.
Maria grabbed Yamada’s hand ran to Shinsekai High school.
As they got into their class, the teacher didn’t say anything just looked at them and immediately sat them down to their sits.
Yamada sat next to a lively, nice, and popular Markie.
He was so sweet, everybody liked him, girls would confess to him almost every day. Yamada didn’t like him that much as he was the polar opposite of her.
They have been classmates since 8th grade but they don’t seem to ever talk.
The whole class was silent, it usually gets silent when the teacher has something to announce.
“Good morning everyone, the end of semester tests is coming soon, be prepared, the first test will be on the 15th Mathematics, the second one will be on the 18th. English.”
“aarhhhh, really? Why? They’re killing us!” the whole class whines.
Yamada was sick of everyone yelling, she doesn’t like loud noises.
Markie notices and stands up “Okay everyone! I know it’s hard but we got to do the exam, we have smart ass people here, you can copy them hahaha,” says Markie.
Surprisingly him standing up and speaking made everyone shut up.
It made Yamada calm so she laid on her desk.
“Ahem!” says the teacher “I also have one more thing to announce, come on in”
Just as she said that the student counselor brought in the guy Yamada and Maria ran into before.
Yamada got up from her desk (not like actually standing up) she looked surprised.
“We have a new transfer student, please introduce yourself,” says the teacher.
“my name is Rei Tobio, I was homeschooled so I might hold you guys back a little bit so please lend me your help, nice to meet you,” says Rei as he bows.
“he’s so cute, so tall, well mannered” whispers all the girls in the classroom.
“you can sit at the back; we’ll rearrange the sits after exams”
Rei looks at the desk Yamada was sitting.
Yamada blushed as she thought he was looking at her.
Rei walks towards the desk, Yamada blushed even more.
“Hey…” says Rei
“h- “Yamada was trying to say until “HEYYY REI!!!” says Markie.
Yamada was surprised and embarrassed, she thought he was talking to her.
Rei looks at her “oh, it's you” says rei
“hmm? Do you know her?” asks Markie
“yeah, she bumped into me earlier and her crazy friend attacked me” complains rei.
“oh, you mean Maria? Yeah, she’s pretty crazy ha-ha”
Rei didn’t laugh, he didn’t find it amusing, he just stared at him with a blank face.
“eh, go sit rei, act cool~,” says Markie trying to be funny.
Rei sits behind Maria. Maria suddenly looked at him with a furious, angry face almost threatening him.
Rei looked confused “huh? What did I do?”
he thought to himself, “whatever, the worlds gonna end anyways”
he looks through the window to the blue sky, to the fluffy white clouds. “too bad.” he sighs.
Maria notices and looks down, wondering what’s on his mind

“what’s he so depressed about? He said a weird thing earlier too…” Maria thought to herself.
/back to Yamada and Markie’s desk/
“so, you ran into him huh” says Markie
“Yeah, so what? It was an accident, why to make a big deal out of it?” says Yamada with an annoyed tone.
“Woah chill, I didn’t mean to upset you it's just really funny,” says Markie while giggling.
“whatever,” Yamada says as lays down on her desk, she dropped an eraser but didn’t notice it.
Markie notices and tried to pick it up when he saw bruises on Yamada’s thigh. It was pretty out in the open. He leaves the eraser on the ground.
/the class ends and the scene goes on the rooftop of the school/
Yamada and Maria were there discussing Rei.
“Rei Tobio huh, I knew I didn’t see him before,” says maria while biting the top of a straw from a strawberry box juice
Yamada stays silent as she drinks from her yogurt
“But you know, as weird he is, he is so sad,” says Maria

“because your lively Maria, you like traveling and you're always laughing, some people just have it different,” says Yamada

“Should I tell Maria about what I saw earlier, the world ending, Rei said something similar too, he also looked at the sky, could it be that we saw the same thing?” Yamada thought to herself.

/just as they were talking, Rei and Markie walks in, Yamada and Maria’s surprised/

“yeah, but it’s not like the other ones, it is much bigger,” says rei with a dense face.
/scene goes to Yamada and maria behind the entrance to the rood, listening to them. Yamada is sweating and shocked/
“is it me finally getting a girlfriend haha” says Markie while chuckling
“or is it the aliens and the world is ending hahaha”
“yes, but without the alien part like grow up Markie, aliens aren’t real,” says Markie.
“well, I’d rather see aliens than dying!” says Markie really nervous.
“dude this is more serious now, how is the world going to end?” asks Markie.
“The sky will break and fall upon us, the skyscrapers will fall too, the ground will be split into two causing the earth's core to be open, people will fall in it and burn to death, some will get crushed, ran over, and suicide,” says Rei while thinking about what he saw.
/scene goes back to Yamada and Maria confused and scared/
/then goes back to Rei and Markie/
“Rei, that’s terrible.” Says Markie.
“that’s what I saw, just be glad that you know that your gonna die.” Says Rei.
“but do you know when?” asks Markie

“yeah, Mrs. and Mr. Tobio went away for a business trip for a week, but that was 2 months ago.” Says Markie
“aren’t you guys worried?” Yamada asks
“not really, they go out a lot but come to think of it, it was never this long, they also filled up the fridge and gave us a hand load of money too,” says Markie
“I heard they were doctors before but now they travel abroad a lot”

“like the main characters, side characters, and extras. I’m fine dying as a side character or an extra but Markie, I don’t want him to die as someone useless, he’s a big person with big dreams, he deserves to be noticed” says Markie, he then drinks his tea.

“we’re gonna be late, the trains gonna move in 40 minutes,” says Markie

/Yamada Has taken a nap. Her head was tilting sideways. Markie looks at her thinking if he should put her head on his shoulder but surprisingly, Rei puts her head on his shoulder and looks out the window blushing a little bit. /
“did he just, I knew he had a kind heart inside,” Markie thought to himself
/the taxi driver looks through the mirror and sees the three/

“Nah, keep it, I know you kids are lying about where you’re going but I don’t care, you’re not my kids,” says the taxi driver
