Hello, my dear little friends!

Are you ready for today's jungle story?

Well then? let's ROAR into it!

Once upon a time, in a deep, green forest, there lived a proud and mighty lion king. He wasn't just brave - he was the king of everything the sun touched. One day, something special happened - he got married! And soon after, a tiny, cute, golden-furred lion cub was born.

From that moment on, the lion king was the happiest lion in the whole jungle. He forgot all his royal duties. All he wanted to do was watch his cub and smile.

As the little cub grew up, the king started teaching him all the important lion lessons:

"This is how you hunt!"

"This is how you roar!"

"This is how you run if there's danger!"

The cub listened, learned, and grew. But one day, something strange started happening...

The lion cub stopped eating properly.

He said, "I'm not hungry..." and even if he ate a little, he'd throw up.

The lion king was worried - very worried. His cub looked tired, thin, and weak.

"What's going on with my little one?" he thought.

So he rushed through the trees, carrying the cub gently to the wisest animal in the forest - the elephant doctor.

The elephant adjusted his glasses (yes, he wore jungle glasses), checked the cub, and asked:

"Tell me, O king! What seems to be the trouble?"

The lion said,

"He won't eat! And if he eats, he just throws it all up. I don't understand!"

The elephant tapped his trunk on the ground and said wisely,

"Hmm... bring me a few small pieces of raw meat. Let's do a quick test."

The lion king nodded and brought four or five small chunks of meat.

In just seconds? gulp gulp gulp!

The plate was EMPTY!

The lion king's jaw dropped.

"What?! How did you eat so fast?!"

The elephant chuckled.

"Aha! That's the problem. Your cub is swallowing his food like a crocodile - not chewing it like he should!"

He turned to the cub and said kindly:

"My little one, your teeth are not just for roaring? they're for chewing! When you chew slowly, your food gets digested nicely. But when you swallow it whole, your tummy gets confused and upset!"

The lion king shook his head.

"I've told you so many times - don't gobble your food like a hungry hippo!"

The elephant gave some gentle medicine and said,

"Make sure he chews every bite. Slowly. Patiently."

And from that day on, the cub changed.

He began eating slowly.

He began chewing every bite.

He even said to himself:

"Chew-chew, not zoom-zoom!"

Soon, he felt better. He got stronger. And he even taught other animals to eat slowly too!

---

Now kids, it's your turn!

Are you like the lion cub before?

Do you eat while watching your phone?

Do you swallow your food like it's a race?

Oops! That's not good for your tummy!

If you don't chew well, your body doesn't know what to do with the food. It may take longer to digest or even make you feel sick.

Eating is an art.

So sit straight, thank your mom or dad for the yummy food, and chew slowly with love.

And don't forget what my little daughter says - she came up with the cutest song for this story:

"Yum yum, chewy chewy, to-ma-to!"

Say it with me now...

"Yum yum, chewy chewy, to-ma-to!"

Eat happy, eat healthy, and always chew like a wise little lion!

Bye for now, my jungle stars! ROAR you later!
