It was the scorch summer. The sun was in fury. It was trying its best to repel every movement, but it couldn't deter mine. I was equally determined. I had to move, move and move till I reach my goal.
I started my journey early morning. With a load of baggage, filled with supplies, I headed for the haven where the deal was supposed to be matured. I didn't have a vehicle to carry my weight. My legs were the propellers which I trusted the most.
I passed through the marshes, then penetrated the forest. Siding the twigs, I came to the mid of a lonely highway. The energy registered a drip with the legs signaling fatigue. They started to tremble, toes wailing for the support of thimbles.
My view drifted towards the sky. A stream of sweat creeped my forehead. Not shifting my focus, I uncorked my bottle of water. With anger in eyes, then looking at the endless stretch, I waived the bottle high and inverted it enjoy some gush. Alas, a drop was left that touched my gullet reprimanding me of the last milestone.
I wasn't shattered from the adversity because I learnt to gather the courage at my university. Tapping my toes, I resumed the travel on the lifeless road. After traversing a few yards, I experienced shaky walks. My legs demanded some rest, but my mind was unrest. I couldn't lose a second as I had to win for umpteen reasons. From my win, someone might smile, someone might rise. With all those notions in mind, I learnt to become wise.
The sun couldn't burn my endeavor because it couldn't shine forever. Somewhere, it had to call a day. With no resistance, it went to set. That was the deadline where I reached. I founda treasure trove filled with gold hidden in a cave. Hurriedly I packed some of it, then I rested to experience peace.
The return journey was not at all difficult. The thought of success filled my mind with cheer. Upon reaching the home, the needy greeted warmth. I stroke to headlines becoming their hero.
What did I take in my baggage to avert the crisis? It was the courage that drove me undeterred towards my destination.
