That was a Monday morning 10 a.m.
The branch of the popular bank located at the heart of the city was crowded than normal.
The bank staff were very busy at their work.
Two strange men wearing masks came inside the bank.
One of them took out a pistol from his pocketand pointed it towards the crowd and,
shouted to everyone in the bank:
"Don't move. The money belongs to the Government. Your life belongs to you.Don’t try to do anything too smart. All of you lay down"
Everyone in the bank lay down quietly. This is called the "Mind Changing Concept” Changing the conventional way of thinking.
When an attractive lady laid seducinly on the table provocatively, the robber shouted at her: "Please be civilized! We came to rob the bank and not to rape you!" This is called "Being Professional” Focus only on what you are intended to do!
When the robbers returned home after robbing the bank, the younger robber (MBA-graduate) told the older robber (who is an illiterate): "Big brother, let's count how much we got." The older robber rebutted and said: "You are very stupid. There is so much money it will take us a long time to count. Tonight, the TV news will tell us how much we robbed from the bank!" This is called "Experience.” Nowadays, experience is more important than paper qualifications!
After the robbers had left, the bank manager told the bank security officer to call the police quickly. But the officer said to him: "Wait sir! Let us take out $10 million from the bank for ourselves and add it to the $70 million that we have previously embezzled from the bank”. This is called "Swim with the tide.” Converting an unfavourable situation to your advantage! The security officer says: "It will be good if there is a robbery everymonth."
The next day, the TV news reported that $100 million was taken from the bank. The robbers counted and counted and counted, but they could only count $20 million. The robbers were very angry and complained: "We risked our lives and only took $20 million.
The bank manager took $80 million with a snap of his fingers. It looks like it is better to be educated than to be a thief!" This is called "Knowledge is worth as much as gold!"
The bank manager was smiling and happy because his losses in the share market are now covered by this robbery. This is called "Seizing the opportunity.” Daring to take risks!
So who are the real robbers here?
Sometimes later,
A Smart fraud investigation officer smells a rat, starts digging around and finds the 80 million swindled by the bank manager, who confesses to the crime and now is behind the bars.
As for the 20 million, the robbers start flaunting fancy cars, splurging in casinos and other vices and also get caught after some days.
The police don’t recover all the money, probably about half, the rest they underwrite and move on.
Bottomline – “Crime does not pay”
