Always wanting more, yet always complaining. Life is 'hard', 'nothing comes easy' they all said, as if we needed that system too begin with. The human being is greedy, or, in my biased opinion, lions are greedy too. Hell, even the innocent-looking birds are still greedy yet humans take it to the next level.

It's 2024; we're all interconnected now, and we know what's happening everywhere at any moment. Life feels hopeless; children are starving and being bombed; countries are being ravaged by war; and the colonialism we all say was left behind in the last century. The selfish saying of wanting 'peace' has destroyed even more innocent communities. At the end of the day, the only people being protected are the rich.

'Lazy' is what the older generations are calling us, as if we're not direct consequences of their actions, living in those consequences themselves. The young are tired; their voices aren't heard. The ones that will be living in the future have no choice but to abide by the laws being made by those that will not be present 10 years from now. Rent can't be paid, food can't be bought, clothes are unethically cheap, and degrees that were said to be the strongest thing someone can own have now become meaningless. So is it the fault of the youth that living doesn't seem worth it? Every dream that was sold to them was just plain old fairy tales.

'Democracy, for the people, by the people' yet every time it feels like we're being silenced. Millions of voices are heard every day, demanding a better life, for the wars to stop, for a single choice - none of those voices are heard. Rather than for the people, it has all become for the money.

Something that was supposed to be a transactional
mean to all of us became the same poison we keep on consuming. Money did really make man mad, and perhaps soulless. Why do some have so much money they could feed, clothe, house, and teach whole countries, yet they haul that money into satisfying no one but themselves? Here we are, all judging, but given the money, we'd all probably do the same. Human greed shows no end.
