On a sun-kissed day of the week. The Physics period was going on. Physics mam was explaining about projectile motion. At that time a student from class 8 came with a circular. He said, "May I come in mam. P.T. mam told me to give this". Physics mam readed the information written in the circular. In our school Chess competitions will be conducted tomorrow and interested students are requested to bring the required equipment.

While hearing this I remember the thing I did in my 9th standard. Likely today in my 9th also the chess competitions held. I didn't master at chess. But I know the basics of playing an ordinary game. I went to play the chess competition. The match was set between me and a student in my class as an opponent. Before the game, I didn't take any practice even though I played the last chess in my 6th standard. Approximately 3 years gap between me and the game. Without any expectations, the game begins. I started to play with my short chess knowledge.

On the other hand, my opponent was good at chess with much practice. He started to strike coins. Not only him I also stroked some of his coins. But the coins struck by him are the major ones. Then he changed his focus to striking the king. I was trying to safeguard the king by moving its position. At one point I didn't move the king anywhere in the board. At that moment my dreams in chess were crushed. Though he won the match I was a little happy to sustain until the last scene of the match. These memories are running in my mind now. I told to myself to win tomorrow's game.

I returned home with the thought of practicing chess in
the evening. But the time is not enough to do the subject work. On that day our Maths sir taught one of the important topics, Representation of Linear Inequalities. In that sum, many graphs are to be drawn. It is easy to draw in a graph note. but we have to draw in a plain white paper note. The graphs are drawn with 0.5 Cm intervals. It is a slow process that takes a lot of time. Just 10 minutes are remaining for the Maths period. Sir solved three sums on the board and told us to complete the remaining sums as homework. But I didn't write the three sums which sir wrote on the board. With the thought of writing at home. I wrote with the speed of a snail and completed only one sum. After completing the Maths period, I went to the lunch. I spent most of the time on other subjects and watching the mobile phone. At the time of 7:45 a.m., I took my Maths book to write the remaining sums. In those sums, we have to find the values of x and y which consume most of the time. So, I took my mother's phone and searched for the sum on YouTube and wrote the values. Though I wrote the values, I can't complete the sums. But I just draw the empty graphs without plotting the values. The clock clicks 8:15 a.m. I don't have time to eat. My mother put rice on a plate and fed me with her hands. Then I realized time was going fast. If now I aren't ready for school, I will be late. After putting off my uniform. I went to take my cycle. After the arrival of my classmate, Shree Abilesh. We both pedaled our cycles towards
school. We Reached our school.

After the prayer, my friend asked me, about the Maths homework sums, and remembered that today is three-period Maths. I told myself to complete the remaining sums at break time. After the lunch period, a short of 20 minutes is reserved for subject works. Usually in that 20 minutes we write a test in physics. The Responsibility of conducting the test is mine. So, writing the maths sums in that time is very tough. Today the third period is English. Our English teacher said, "Every Friday is reserved for the language subjects. You do only that. So, I told a student to write the English paragraph on the board. Copy the paragraph in your classwork note". I thought there was no way to write the sums. The Bell of the fourth period rang Me and my friends ate our lunch. After completing the lunch, we washed our tiffin boxes. At that time, we saw many students playing chess and carrom on the veranda of the teacher's staff room. In the classroom, the paragraph was written on the board and many of them are copying that. My friend named Nagul asked me, "Come let's go play chess". I said, "Today 3-period Maths. Sir will teach many concepts which may be important. so, I can't come." But he went to play. I was in the confusion about writing paragraphs or Maths sums. After many thoughts, I decided to go to play chess. I asked my friend who was sitting in front of my desk. He accepted and we both went to play chess. After reaching there, he said, "I am well at carrom. I'm going to play that. Bye!."

In there I saw my classmate Deena and we decided to play chess. As well as at this
match also I didn't take any practice. I played my last chess game in the 9th standard. Deena made the first move as I selected black coins. Within a minute he started to remove my coins from the board. I just stroked two and three Coins. He didn't stop with striking the coins and also trying to checkmate my king. Then what do I do? I just displacing the king from one box to another. At that time our Maths sir came out from the staff room and travelled towards our classroom. My subconscious mind told me to ask permission for chess at Sir. But I refused with contempt and continued the one-sided game. I thought that it was a practice match. But Deena said it's for selection. After a few minutes, a student from my class came and said, "Sir called those students who went to play chess and carrom. I was completely scared off. I heard the beating of my heart in my ears. Stepped up the floors with curiosity.

Near the class, one of the guys in us asked sir, "May I come in sir?" He didn't allow us inside the class as we thought. He asked with whom you ask to play. No one of us has a proper answer. He told us to stand outside the class the whole day. He started teaching. It was an important topic. So, we apologized to him, but he didn't accept it. we stood outside with undigestable leg pain and listened to the class. At that time, I remembered if I asked permission to play Chess with him, we would sit inside the class.

I realized that procrastinating time is pushing my life downwards by myself. I felt strongly that we don't know the value of something when we
have it, but only in a time that does not exist. The value of sitting inside and listening to the lesson is realized only when I stand outside. My mind knows all the consequences of being negligent and careless. We tried to apologize to him several times that day, but he ignored us. The next day we were sitting in the classroom during the Maths period. He did not ask us anything, nor did he scold us. He behaved the same way he had treated us before all these incidents happened. Because he punished our actions, not us.

Frankly, i dont understand the point of the story. There a lot of grammatical errors. I recommend using a software like grammarly, its good for beginners and helps you structure your sentences. I do get that the character was trying to get his math homewo
