Once upon a time, there was a man in a village called Alapata. The name of this man was Oderinde. He was a hunter. Oderindehad two wives. The name of thefirst wife was Aduke and the second wife was Alake. Aduke gave birth to a boy whose name was Bade. The name of the son of second wife was Alao.

Alao, being a last son of Oderinde was loved by his father more than Bade. Also was brilliant, very hard-working and very ugly.

It was because of these reasons that the second wife went to an herbalist whose name was called Fagbamila. Aduke told the herbalist to give her poison in order to kill Alao. The herbalist told her that the kind of poison he wanted to give her had no cure anyone that taste of it would surely die.

Aduke having being nursing jealous toward Alao, she paid five thousand naira(#5,000) to Fagbamila. Immediately she got home, there was nobody in the house. She cooked beans andput the poison in the beans of Alao.

Aduke'sson was the person that entered the house. He moved straight forward to the kitchen and took one of the plates set by Aduke on the dinning table. The poisonous beans which contain charm was taken by the son of Aduke. When Base had finished eatenhis food,Alao came , followed by Aduke ,Alake and Oderindewho was the head of the family.

All the members of the family ate their food. It was a darkest day for Adukewho did the evil work because the event turned aagainst her. Suddenly, in the night, her son, Bade began to vomit; after ten minutes, the boy gave up the ghost. Aduke started crying, saying, 'I have reaped what I sow'. She confessed to her husband and Alake that it was her who put poison in the food in order to kill Alao the last born of Oderinde.

This story teaches us that you will reap what you sow.
